  • What are you talking about, Willis?

  • Damn Stephen Colbert looks really young... It's kinda weird

  • "Wayne and Semen you're going to act out a film..." Okay.

  • My face is like a damn tomato now. This is my favorite Foreign Film Dub, I can watch it over and over and still bust up everytime.

  • oh shit is that stephen colbert?

  • haha whatcha talking bout willis

  • I shall call Haagen Dasz "Willis" from now on. XD

Also I loved how Ryan made a whole spiel about Wayne and Helga and killing Wayne and Stephen decides he'd get amorous with him instead LOL.

  • At 2:56 when Colbert is acting all happy and he says "Das ist schlecht", what that actually translates to in german is "That's bad." lol

  • STEVEN FUCKING COLBERT!!!!!!!!!! THIS SHOW IS MORE FAMOUS THAN I THOUGHT =D

  • "Heute Deutschland, morgen die ganze Welt" lolol WTF?!

  • @Lucaswaxmann

Doesn't that translate into "Today Germany, tomorrow the world"?

  • @karik333 Yup.

  • Ryan: " ...mmmmm Saurkrautn..... it takes preperATION!!"

    LOL

  • Watch this with the captions on. It's even more hilarious.

  • WHALE!

  • Drinking coffee while watching Whose Line is never a good idea. You are taking a sip and next thing you know Ryan says "kiss me" and you burst out laughing and the coffee gets everywhere. Damn you Whose Line!!!!!

  • HAHAH Someone yelled out "WHALE!"

  • ITS JUST CABBAGE!

  • What are you talking about, Willis? XD

  • Hey guys, I'm just wondering does it sound like german to you? I'm german

and it doesn't sound like it at all. But the time they dubbed italian or chinese it

totally sounded like that language. Please responde.

greetings from germany (and sorry for all the mistakes)

  • @paulpaulxtre: I'm pretty sure Italians and Chinese around the world are thinking the same thing.

  • @paulpaulxtre haha You had no mistakes ;) Gut gemacht. It doesn't sound like German to me either. Sounds more like Dutch xD haha. Aber sie haben ein paar wörter und ein Satz gesagt, die wie Deutsch geklingt haben. Es war aber lustig haha. .. es tut mir leid für mein Deutsch ;)

    Viele Grüße aus Kanada ;)

  • @xyJeNzz Thank you, now I hear it. But his accent is so terrible, that I couldn't understand the

german sentence xD Did you learn german in school? Is it hard to learn?

I think the grammer is the most difficult part, if you learn german.

Like the english pronunciation, there aren't many rules or patterns you can follow...

    Weiter so =)

    greetings from germany

  • @paulpaulxtre aha yes, it is xD

Ja, ich habe Deutsch in Uni gelernt, aber ich bin auch nach Deutschland gegangen (sep-dez 2010).

It is fairly difficult, but after you learn it, Latin language grammar is very easy ;)

  • @xyJeNzz Thank you, now I hear it. But his accent is so terrible, that I couldn't understand the

  • Holy shit is that Stephen Colbert! haha awesome!

  • haagen das is actually scandinavian XD

  • It's just CABBAGE!

  • Funny thing? Stephen is actually speaking German.

  • lol Freakin' Stephen Colbert!!!

  • HAAGEN DAZ XD

  • One of the best Film Dubs.

  • this is my favorite foreign film dub!

  • @charmed1293 cuz drew is not in it

  • WHALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The best?

  • The man that screams WHALE at 0:23 is the 3 row, 2 spot, between the two girls

  • Haha, Stephen quoting Hitler! rofl

  • they should have picked whale; i bet if drew heard it (if he didn't) he woulda picked it. dear god that would be epiccccc

  • i think Stephen may be speaking actual german.

  • @ringojohnpaulgeorgee He does a little I think "Das ist nicht sauerkraut means that is not sauercraut

  • i love it when they only say one thing like "jaa!" and ryan goes on for ages with the translator :')

  • From "Today, Germany; tomorrow, the world!" to "I'm talking about Helga, my wife! I know about you and her."

  • also Heute DEUTSCHLAND, und morgen die ganze WELT!!

  • Please watch this with the transcribe audio captions. it made me happy.

  • WHALE!

  • ROFL! Hagen Daz <3

  • I love it in foreign film dub when the person who "translates" wayne always says something shorter than what wayne actually says and how ryan immediately follows up with a says something much longer than the amount he "translates." and XD at the end

    Wayne: Dockenson Spoot Dockenson Spoot

    Colin: Dockenson Spoot Dockenson Spoot

  • at 2:30, after Colbert says "sauerkrauten" (sp?)

you can hear Ryan just about to say the same thing before catching himself

  • The man on the right actually said real German things a few times, lol. Ich liebe Deutsch, ja.

  • lol stephen actually says some german lines. but from hitler, lol.

  • @WackenOtto how is das ist sehr gut! hitler? it means that is very good

  • @purplegill10 He says "Today Germany and tomorrow the rest of the world"

He says a FEW lines from Hitler.

  • 2 Germans disliked this

  • @McLolzable Not just Germans. Germans are the first to laugh at themselves, I find. Two German DOUCHEBAGS disliked this.

  • @undercoveragent0001 are you german? what does Stephen actually say? does he speak German well?

  • It is very difficult to watch these videos and keep a perfectly straight face!!! I gotta stop watching before Im caught! Lol!!!

  • Lol its captain Ahab at 0:24

  • at 2:32 Stephen DOES say a few words in german, roughly translating to, "This is not sauurkraut!" or however you spell it.

  • IT'S JUST CABBAGE!

  • 0:26...did he just yell out WHALE?

  • I love how colin says the same thing as Wayne

  • "What are you talking about, Willis?"

<3 Colin is the best. xD

  • LOL @ :25

  • What are you talking about, Willis? rofl!

  • Is stephen actually speaking german? if so, what is he saying? (besides "today germany tomorrow the world") i'm honestly curious!

  • You know whats funny, Stephen Colbert is actually speaking real German

  • From a very famous speach hitler gave i dont know how he would know that

  • I love how colin takes their long sentences and says like 2 words, and Ryan takes the short sentences into a story within itself. also Stephen said Heute Deutschland, Morgen die Ganze Welt. Which is "Today Germany, Tomorrow the whole World".

  • I love how Stephen is actually speaking German and the translations are just so far off.

  • "ITS JUST CABBAGE!" Lmfao

  • "what are you talking about willis" peed myself a lil

  • IT'S...JUST...CABBAGE!!! 2:25

  • Ich spreche Deutsch, und Sie ist gut. Sehr gut.

  • Hahahaha I didnt hear it the first time but then I heard it when I watched it again the guy yelling WHALE hahaha so funny

  • Stephen said: "Heute Deutschland, morgen die Welt!" - "Today Germany, tomorrow the world!"

  • omg that was an awesome playing!

  • I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH

  • 'Your wife?'

  • I hurt myself laughing!

  • WHALE!!!!!! 0:25

  • 0:25 I blew soda out of my nose!!!. "WHALE!!!!" LMFAO

  • What are you talking about willis?

  • LMAO..!!! at 0:25 you can actually see the guy screaming "WHALLEE!!" ..He's the 3rd row down, in the gray.

  • The black actor, improvised german jibberish much better than Colbert.

  • If you think that, you must be stupid. :1

  • Thats because sometimes Colbert was speaking real German. At the end he says, "that is bad," and at one point he says "Today Germany and tomorrow the entire world." and I think that he says a real word at 2:22. The point of the game is to make up words, not say real ones.

  • @C3P0meetsData The point is not to make up words, it's to sound german without being able to speak it. Even Sid Caesar used real words in his fake speaking. And Colbert DID sound more German than Wayne, who sounded more...scandinavian.

  • !

When Colbert has his hand on Wayne's cheek (2:06) he licks his lips.

The man is a genius, really.

  • I only have the season 1 vol.2 DVD of Whose line and this is not on it...Is it on Volume 1 for some weird reason? :S :'C

  • "Today: Germany. Tomorrow: the world!"

    LOL!!!

  • Stephen kinda sounded believable.

  • He was speaking real German every once in a while.

  • YOUNG COLBERT!! that made my day

  • @Geshode

You can't expect everyone to know every language.

When they did Vietnamese, they practically just listed Chinese foods. Which, as a Vietnamese person, I thought was really funny.

    It's a joke.

  • Epic commercial!!!!!! XD

    Instant sauerkraut FTW!!

  • "Une ine highin sightened, une da bischguiden, oi misguiden shiden"

    LMFAO sounds so funny

  • Stephen Colbert is one of the greatest people who ever lived

  • ITS JUST CABBAGE!

  • I laughed when Stephan Colbert quoted Hitler 1:22-1:24

    XD

  • really!? what did he say, i wish i knew german!

  • He said: "Today, Germany, Tomorrow, the world!"

  • A bilingual bonus. I wish I knew German.

  • My dad, who speaks German fluently told me thats what he said. I know very little German myself, but I hope to one day just like my parents speak it fluently

  • @BigM161 At what part did he say that?

  • Comment removed

  • @CelticGoddess111 He said it around 1:22. When he says it, it sounds like: Heute Deutschland, morgen die ganze Welt!

  • 0:25 Some guy randomly screams out "WHALE!!!!!!!" at the top of his lungs XXXXD LMFAO

  • LOL, so random that it almost killed me!

  • I didn't even notice that the first time.lol That's so awesome!!

  • I saw him.

  • @metallicakixtotalass LOL It's the guy in the black and grey stripes near the left side of the screen :P

  • @metallicakixtotalass hee hee after seeing (and hearing) that I'm just imagining Wayne and Steven doing Dori from Finding Nemo! Uber LOL!

  • @metallicakixtotalass LOL. He was in the shot. Did you see the girl cover her ears after that? He even looks angry. XD

  • "Yes. My wife. I've been gathering reports about you and her all over town! Driving around at all hours of the night being in diffeent restaurants! I hate you! I've always hated you from the first day I saw you! Some day I will kill you! You will bury you beneath the sea and never talk to you again! Kiss me?"

  • wayne: dockin se spoot dockin se spoot

    ...

    colin:dockin se spoot dockin se

    hahahahaha

  • Das unda need healings?

  • I had to pause after the 'What are you talking about Willis?' line. I laughed for a solid minute or two.

  • 1:40-2:07 Hilarious

Also, I wonder why Colbert doesn't have his glasses on. A dramatic removal would have fit the above scene perfectly.

  • This was before he became the famous Satirist he is now.

  • love colin and ryan..they're the best!

  • roflmfao

  • GO COLBERT!!!

  • I think Stephen was actually talking German. Wow. 5 stars.

  • Nah, he says seperate words such as:

    eins - one

    Deutschland - Germany

    Welt - World

He also says a badly formulated sentence:

    "Das ist keinen Sauerkrauten"

    Which correctly translated would mean:

    "That's not Sauerkraut"

But all in all it was good

  • Don't forget:

"Das ist Shilt" (I can't spell it right)

    Translates to:

    "This is shit"

  • Actually he only says

"It is..." since shit doesn't exist in German, it's called Scheisse.

  • I guess he's rather trying to say:

"Das ist schlecht" which means "this is bad"

  • lol @ Whatchu talkin bout Willis.

  • I don't understand this part

  • this show comes on wednesday at 11:00 P.M.

and maybe thursday but im not sure

  • I miss this show!! haha

  • When was this?

  • Yeah, I definitely noticed that stephen actually does know some German because although I don't speak it... He is making some sense. Maybe I am picking up some German from that german soap I watch. Ha ha

  • lol, collin pwned this 2

  • at 1.21 stephen says: "so heute deutschland - morgen die ganze welt!" - which means - "so today germany - tomorrow the whole world!" and.. haha what's kind of hillarious - it's a quote from a speech of hitler - used in there - i had to laugh so hardly!

by the way - i am german and quite some of the "words" they used are german.. like unten from wayne, meaning "down".. just funny as hell

  • I was just waiting for someone to say "Volkswagen" or some known German product. Lol they said Haggen Daas. close enough!

  • i heard some audience member scream out volkswagen at 0:32 but i guess drew didnt hear it XP

  • Haha I speak german and Stephen looks like he actually knows some

    LOL!

he said "morgen" and "welt" which means "Morning" and "world" starting at 1:22

  • i think Wayne's is more like dutch. :D
