Emmy said in one of her interviews that while she was working on Mystic River w/ Clint Eastwood, he gave her the advice that it's not important to be in the spotlight 24/7; she should just do things on her own time. I think the reason she's not in the public eye constantly is by her own choice and a good thing. I really admire her for her talent and her down-to-earth personality and I hope she does really well for herself in the future. She has real talent.
I think it's awesome to see her performing live, but her awesome songs shouldn't be deconstructed (especially all those lovely vocal layers) in the live shows...oh well :D I'd love to see her live and listening to her album is just as great hahaha! Can't lie without with either of them!

Her music is lyrically beautiful and it has a deeper meaning compared to the trashy lyrics some songs have today. What, with songs having lyrics like: Bell bottom jeans, boots with fur. Reeboks with a strap. Those aren't lyrics. Emmy's songs are poetic!
i don't think so. you mean like those producers who make great artists to zombie-monsters who all they do is think live nad dream about money. don't u think she could be working with ''top'' producers? she doesn'e wants to, if u disagree thinks that even lindsay lohan is singing now so :/ .
