Most offroad dirt tracks use a type of clay that is high maintenance unlike carpet which just get swept,carpet is also easier to rebuild .

@TheXYZProject Well with indoor tracks like that it would be a little impractical. However, it all determines on the owner.

Our track is going to be mostly 1:16 - 1:18, and we're going to have 2wd and 4wd open classes. We're looking at a Robitronic lap system at the moment. Maybe we'll open the classes up a bit more down the road after we get some more people interested. All in all, your track looks great!

What kind of carpet did you use to make this? I'm putting a similar track in this winter, and your layout is very similar to mine. What are you using for barriers?

@LucasRCX i used carpet tyles sticky back ones if one gets worn its easy to change coz it a 1.5ft or half yard square
