Four years ago sounds like a long enough time ago to me, this was my freshman year show. All we did was play a show and marched it's drill. The reason there is a jazz stage up there is because that's how it is in the drill. I marched on the turf, and yes, this was one of our first performances of the year... yeah.

I think Foot Hills deal is to have all their best players on a platform and have the rest of the band march crappily around them hardly playing at all.

Hardly deservent on 2nd place at NCBA Granite Bay deserved first mcqueen deserved second folsom deserved third and this band deserved 8 place for beinng cheap

Hey, what is with everyone and the El Dorado High, I mean its only a halftime show in a high school football games, not the Superbowl. Plus school copy each other all the time, you guys were probably not the first to play this show either.

Actually the show was actually the first of its kind. True that bands may have played some of the songs before us but not in this combination. The stage idea by the way was actually used at EDHS in 2003; the band used it for their field show "Chicago". Then our director decided to use it again for this show. I am just glad though we didn't use it for our other field shows. We almost did for the Bigger Phatter Phield Show in 05. I'm just glad they didn't use it for their 08 show "Whodunnit?"

Okay, but it still doesn't mean everyone should get so pissed. This is just a high school band halftime show nothing more. The fact that everyone is getting so upset about it shows they have no lives.

Not everyone is pissed from EDHS, it's just a select few that are overreacting and I just don't understand why. I actually find it interesting to hear another band's interpretation of the show.

you guys need to friggin chill out. I too was in the original EDHS band. They can do whatever the hell they want as long as whoever created the show is being compensated for their work.

The rest of the band does march; it's just Jazz Band that remains stationary on the stage.

this isnt marching band its a jazz band. they should not have won at tob. the drill is easy and there jazz band is miked. they should have been d.q

fyi the only miked players are the soprano in the 1st/2nd song and the tenor in the 3rd. plus the mikes are only turned on during the solo itself.
