I LOVE the NYC lashes :) and the Ardell glue as well! I didn't even bother trying DUO because the ardell glue is great. This was super helpful.

Actually you can use them over again, up to 5 times :) All you have to is clean the band and you can even wash the lashes with eye makeup remover. False lashes can be used many times before having to re-purchase new ones.

Girl, thank you SO MUCH for this tutorial! Yesterday I attempted to apply FLs with my fingers. Oh. Mah. GAWD! It was a train wreck. Great tips for application. I always thought you were supposed to apply mascara BEFORE the FLs, but I found that you could see my real lashes smashed against the FLs. Definitely takes practice. BTW, I LOVE your brows. I have such little body hair they barely show. Only have maybe three hairs on each leg to shave once per month. LOL! Thanks again!

I have seen several tutorials on how to apply eyelashes. Alls of them address the issue of the false lash being too long. What if the eyelash is too short. I find that is the case for me all of the time. So I don't put them on. I have had the individual ones put on by someone else. What can I do if I want to use a strip?

I would use a strip and then add individual ones to make up the difference in space.

if you have that long of lashes in the 1st place then i wouldnt put on fake ones anyway. if you want to get that black look just put mascara and eye liner because u already have the long look so then they'll look just as good as the fake ones!!

Every person I watch on youtube is exactly the same. I don't know how you guys do it. When I put on the eyelash the part that goes on the eye first is the middle. But when I put it in my eye the ends end up touching my eyelid and getting glue all over and messing up my look. I just cant ever get them on right either. I can do everything else makeup but eyelashes are impossible for me lmao.

i feel its better in my opinion to curl first, just cuz i dont like to mess up the natural curl of the lashes. then just apply mascara to blend together.

When you remove false lashes there are always excess glue dried on them. How do you remove the glue without damaging the lashes?

Oil free makeup remover works for me. Just gently use it on the lashes. Works great to keep them clean, too.

I reuse them about 5 to 6 times. I am very careful with them. They cheap ones I only use twice. But the mac or mufe ones I am more careful with. I get a soaked q tip and clean them gently. Just any excess makeup on them :o)

Yes they are. However, you would need to take care of them very well. I get about 4 uses with the makeupforever. Give them a lot of TLC! lol :o)

If you have the ardells or any other drug store lashes...I would give it a little space. If you buy the MakeupForever ones you can take them in a little more since they are more comfortable. Even the mac 34's are pretty good. The band on the are better :o) They glue that comes with the MUFE one's is amazing but they are a little more. About $14.00 a pair.

i have a really curved lashline and its really hard to keep the inner corners on because a lot of lashes arent flexable enough i find or long enough for that matter. the tip about leaving a little space at the end of the eye and the bending them before putting them on really helped. now i can wear falsies from ur tips. thanks...i think il try nyc since u actually had to cut a tiny piece off.

Sally's sells a lash removal liquid, however, I just pull them off. I don't put tons of glue. I start off by taking the end first & pulling it slowly. (Be careful)

Hi! You need to put glue on. Even though it says that. That #973 are a bit harder to put on. The easiest ones are 974A. The band is very flexible the 973 is a bit stiffer. I hope they work out for you. I'm here if you have any other questions :)

The lashgrip is ok. I have not found a lash glue that I am completely happy with. But oh well. And I don't have time to re touch my makeup during the day.So i wear an eyeshadow primer & a foundation primer. That way my makeup stays on longer than usual :)

I love false lashes! So I wear them almost everyday! They are so easy to put on & they make your eyes stand out more. I don't wear them only if i'm not wearing makeup at all! But that's just me.
