I kno it's the conductor's interpretation, but my college (Lehigh) just did this song as a walk-on intro, and it's amazing slowed down a little bit. You get to really sway into the beat and embody the emotion much more in my opinion. Well done though!
My choir sang thhis song in our spring concert and it was great! we did really good. we sang and danced in the isles. our drums sounded different though
you guys needed to relax a little more. this is very spiritual song, and it needs to be delivered in a more casual way. you guys are almost trying too hard to make it sound good. it should just come from the soul on a song like this. well done, though :)
Agreed. It's alittle rushed. But good job, this song is SO much fun to sing =) I've got a few vids on my site of various choirs I've been in singing this song =)
Lol, I'm singing this in choir too -^^- Um, the only thing is that the melody seems to be buried when you're singing the "wana furaha" part. It tends to get buried in ours too though -^^-;; -shrugs- it may just be the recording though. You guys sang it really well! I hope we can sing it that well tomorrow~! -^^-
