Bill of Rights, Constitution, Declaration of Independence... Remember your supposed to protect the people of Texas not answer to the Senate or Govener.
@Jessikaflame Actually the Govenor is the Commander In Chief of the TXSG but you are spot on with protection of Texas Citizens. "Texans Serving Texans" is a long standing motto for the Guard.
Good question - it is a student designation. Red platoon and blue platoon. The were other bands for the squad leaders. I think two per platoon. The arm bands meant nothing beyond basic training.
Thanks for the comments vampy... you're right in that there is a lot of flag footage. But the Guard spends a lot of time on the subject so I feel it is in line with the training. Still - good thoughts for when the video might need updating. b.creative
Nicely done. Good choice of shoots and great music. Well done titles. Lost pacing in a couple places, however. Too much time spent on dealing with the flag and marching, for a recruitment video. Spend more time on the skills learning, such as radio communication. That last services and training bit was nice and quick.
Pretty cool! I don't live in Texas but I like the way this is set up. It gives alot of freedom to members while still training them to protect the State of Texas. You don't have to worry about being deployed to some foreign country for a baseless war.
Fine tool for showing new prospects; 4th AW has a 'high bar' to achieve for the next RBOT event. Thanks TEAM & SSgt Burns for the quality AV work. Lt Col Chilcott
