The liturgy is the work of the people in worship. How the people want to worship God is their choice, not the Pope's. The Mass is a recollection of Christs Sacrifice. Calvary is over, it cannot be recreated. The worship of God must be forever new, a retreat back to the 12th century makes no sense in the 21st. Jesus spoke to his disciples in their native tongue. So why worship in a dead language? The Moto Propio is the will of a dictator forced on the modern church. WWJD? Remove Benedict.

There are also Eucharistic miracles which you can find in the Church, no one can explain how it occurred. But why it occurred - it is a testament to what Christ said himself in John 6. There are commentaries that accurately explain the words used. Greek may be the common language then.

@MrAdel007 saying it in Latin doesn't make it valid and reliable. They'll probably still be saying the Novus Ordo Mass just in Latin language. Make sure that you attend the pre-Vatic. II, tridentine, truelly traditional mass in Latin. All the parts of Catholic old mass should be there, the railing, true altar, Eucharist in the center of the altar, communion at the railing, kneeling on the hand. Catholics should boycott the new circus like dinner on the hand. + Jesus said for MANY (not all)

The extraordinary form of the Mass is a misnomer. It is the only true form of the Roman Rite. Always has and always will be. The Novus Ordo is an abomination.

And by whose authority do you speak on? I thought Christ passed on His authority to the Apostles not to you. Therefore if the Church decides to change the Mass (without changing the essential elements) then it is her prerogative to do so. Having said that I certainly agree that it probably is not always the prudent thing to do, to play about with liturgy, hence the mess we have today.

You are right, the Church has the right to change what she so desires in the liturgy. However, the Church's teaching is that this change must be organic and not sudden, but come as a result of devotion and pious development, from saints and theologians, not determined by 'liturgical experts'. Even the Pope says this. The Church is the protector and curator of the liturgy, not its creator; God through the apostles is its Creator, the Church is simply called to preserve the tradition passed down.
