  • Well someones got sand in their vagina...your a pba bowler if a little camera flash distracts you, you have issues to work out.

  • Give me Norm Duke any ole day, I like Stormin' Norman WAY better than Pete Weber, Norm is the kind of guy that has a ton of class, real personable from what I've seen when he makes a TV finals appearance, hope he makes a couple of appearances this season. :)

  • "Don't flash the camera" + "I hear it" = ???

  • That fool is gangster!! It proves it by me getting here looking for mob killing! 8p...oh..and does wearing sun glasses in-doors make you see better? apparently not!!

  • I thought that was why he wore sunglasses in the first place, to block out distractions....

  • If he would have thrown a strike do you think he would have said something? Probably not.

  • Class act.

  • He's a douchebag.

  • @buffalobraves9 I know a person who bowled in a tourney with him and he said the same thing.

  • i like bowling..his dad is a legend in the game..but..WTF is with the shades?..really...dude..u look like an absolute DICK.....Now if he has some sort of eye condition that he needs em...then im a dummie for commenting...but ive got a feeling.hes thinking hes Dale Earnhardt of bowling...

  • Its common courtesy in bowling to not use flash photography on bowlers in their approach.

  • lol, if he says he gets distracted by flashes, I wonder how he bowls in a PUBLIC BOWLING ALLY!

  • pete weber, patrick allen, and sean rash seem like the biggest douchebags on the tour. I root for guys like mike scroggins, norm duke, and parker bohn. they seem like good dudes.

in the they-just-bother-me category, it's walter ray williams (that stache has to go), chris barnes (melodramatic facial expressions and kermit the frog voice), jason belmonte (we get it, you're different) and rhino page (stupid ass name).

  • @grelleezy Mike Scroggins is such a great guy!

(He's actually my bowling coach; I go to Randall High in Amarillo and his son is on the team with me ;p)

  • Its Bowling End of Story

  • Pete's a dick (no pun intended since that's his pep pep's name) but I have his back 100% on this one. How the fuck could you be be so discourteous as to use flash photography when you're anywhere within the field of vision of a competitor who is trying to hit a specific board that's a fraction more than an inch wide?

  • oh yea i didn't throw a strike so i blame u for flashing the camera... haha. there was no flash... LOL... oh yeah I HEARD IT... dumb ass.

  • Mood swings are a symptom of meth use. Just sayin'....

  • There are always morons who don't have common courtesy. I can take a year off from bowling and walk into a bowling center one day and within five minutes I'm being distracted by some idiot who doesn't know bowling etiquette. He/she is dancing on the lanes, running up on the approach when I'm ready to take my first step, etc. I'm thinking, "Here we go again." This is why I hardly ever go open bowling anymore. This and all the cosmic crap, something I gave up years ago.

  • if he called me out like that id get up and bitch slap him. what a big homo, hes lucky i wasnt there

  • An Angry PDW is the most 'Complete' bowler in the world. xD!

  • Almost every person who has said that PDW is a jerk has never had to do anything under pressure with 1,000 plus people watching you. This shot wasn't even under pressure he just needed 9 in 2 balls to shut out O'Neill. I was at that event and sat 2 rows behind the man with the camera. He had been doing it frequently but never during anybody's approach. PDW had every right to be ticked off. There's etiquette involved in attending a bowling event, same as golf. If some guy at the US Open kept fla

  • PDW has every right in the world to be peeved about this...for people to say pros should be in the zone or whatever, you try having people down lane cheering for you and moving...PDW can be a jerk but he is great at what he does...drank many a beers with Pete and loved bowling with him in Japan...Great guy and a class act when you get to know him...

Simply said, he's a fierce competitor even during pro ams and anything he's involved in...

  • yes blame the photographer pete, real nice.... hes funny as hell. hes wearing shades how is that gonna bother him? pros are supposed to be in the zone at that point of play. petes a legend so how was he disrupted by a single camera flash?

  • He's a pro, he should be able to block things out!! One time, PDW was at a tournament in Harrisburg, lost to a league bowler at a Pro Am, and stormed out without signing one autograph..

  • well, it was an important tournament for him. it was named after his dad, and he wanted to be able to fill in the shoes. also, it would be easy to get pissed because of that.

  • .....and I don't roll on Shabbas!!!!!!!!!!!

  • He's an asshole, fuck him.

  • @darkenedwolf9

    1. This is not 'just a game', asshole, this is what they do for a living. Whether they make a shot or not decides whether they eat dinner tonight.

    2. You've obviously never bowled competitively if you think that you can bowl accurately with somebody flashing a camera in your eye, when you've only got a couple of boards of error.

    3. He didn't blame the photographer for the ten pin, he just wanted to make sure they weren't going to do it again when it mattered.

  • See pete weber needs to know that in order to be a PBA bowler of course there are going to be camers like wtf. If he doesnt want all the attention then maybe he shouldnt be a PBA bowler. Also one of the main things of bowling is to block everything out of your sight and mind and just see the lanes and pins.

  • such a jerk, i bet if he threw a strike he wouldnt of said anything, he loves blaming other things when he is bowling bad

  • Why cant he just wear this sunglasses and earmuffs . that shud do the trick .

  • I was there, there wasn't a flash or a sound. No one but him seemed to have heard the camera

  • @darkenedwolf9 dude your a dumb bitch if you had half the talent pdw u had in his left foot you could talk. PDW is one of the greatest bowlers of all time and his attitude is part of his game so stop cryin. If some one did something to distract a quarterback during the superbowl and he freaked out i bet you wouldnt say o what ever just a game. Have a little respect for the fact that he is a professional and this is how he makes his living and what he has dedicated his life to NOT "just a game"

  • @darkenedwolf9 1. What is a game to most is how this man makes a living so he had every right to do what he did. 2. Try bowling over 40 games just to get to this point on tough conditions and having that happen and tell me you would not be a little "dramatic". 3. Ratings get a boost every time he appears on TV (That's not a bad thing)

  • love how over-dramatic some people can get sometimes. Not dissin, but i heard of several pro bowlers blaming missing a strike on a camera that flashed .2 miliseconds before they released the ball, LOL!

  • he be trollin lol

  • More like UNprofessional photographer. Walter Ray blew up worse than this when it happened to him.

  • wow this is why no one likes him. it was a perfectly fine ball and your getting pissed for leaving a 10. so you make up an excuse like that to cover it. grow up douchebag

  • Lol @ "It's Just a game, get over it." What do you do for a living -burgerking56666? I'd like to see someone blow a fireball right next to you while you are flipping a burger than say "It's just a job, bro. Get over it."

  • Douchebag!!

  • @darkenedwolf9

You pretty much summed up the situation perfectly. Thank you.

  • lol

  • Great bowlers block out distractions....

  • He looks better with a mustache, lol.

  • What a fuckin whiny bitch, dont blame your poor quality shot on the photographer.

  • @ichammike if that was poor quality id hate to see what good is

  • Isn't that why he wears sunglasses so if people use their cameras? If he hears the camera then he should wear ear plugs too. lmao

  • @soysaucenwasabi sunglasses is becuase there are so many lights they put up that there is a glare on the lane

  • Was it the camera that sounded like som fucking mosquito rackling about in his approach?

  • he's scary

  • Pete is a DICK

there are lots of pros that handle similar situations like pros. Not like little Napoleon's. Maybe he was drunk again, who knows.

  • @TheOsoBrown it was an important tournament for him it was in memory of his dad and he wanted to win

  • Hey cisco, if you ever get to the big show like Pete does, show me not only how calm you'll be if someone blatantly takes your pic knowing it is wrong, and shouldn't do it, but they want their own gain right? Plus show me the money ok?

  • Funny what's good

  • That was mello for Pete, and I bet NugentRocker is a punkass who has never bowled at Pete's level and never will so regardless. Pete's a Star and you, well? Just another wannabe/poser so why would anybody take your opinion seriously. I don't and who cares. Pete's a Professional Bowler, not wrestler, or fighter, so again, go bowling or do something constructive NugentRocker. BTW Ted Negent is a great rocker but guys like you give him a bad name. Hal2012

  • @harryfassett: Well regardless of he is ar star nor not: One thing is being a stupid audience and make camera shots during his approach. But another thing is, that Pete had won this match and consequently react calmer, than he did. I mean, he is on national television, and even, if he was right, it bothers the audience, because he spreads an uncomfortable mood. In this special case it wouldn´t be necessary.

Sure, it is another situation, if he´d stand in final match and miss because of it

  • Of course he going to act up at a tournament named after his dad

  • If that shot had struck I bet he wouldn't have said a word. He was just bitching cause he didn't strike.

  • @Astromchaser As the ball was off his hand he was already pointing at the guy with the camera. He was going to give him a mouthful even if it did strike.

  • him have much many cute. me buy marry ring and tell Pete Weber man he get on knee. we happy happy honeymoon.

  • I heard about this video, but where is the tough guy? All I see is some weenie in sunglasses and fancy fishing-I mean bowling-shirt. Wow, I bet he really intimidates the desk clerk at Motel 6 when he asks for an extra towel.

  • tenpin is a joke...try a real game candlepin.

  • go bowl your candlepin you redneck.

  • Comment removed

  • I can assure you Ajogamer that i am not a redneck..And probably 1 of a handful of people in the world who have bowled tenpin , candlepin ,5 pin and duckpin and trust me tenpin is by far the most boring of them all.......

  • @patleylagares Why?

  • and btw , if im PDW i will just relax , like i m competeing in a practice match just only with other pros

  • i want pete to see this he is such a crazy and thx NickoMcBrainRules and musicispower84 i see that the photographer didnt take flash if i can i will get the match to restart /beat him up,,,, i hate negative person

  • pete weber is a douchebag.... sunglasses ...really.

  • I was sitting directly behind PDW and the photographer wasn't using a flash. The problem was that Pete could hear the high speed shutter during his approach. He specifically says "I can hear it"

  • Hell's fire, it was the solid 10 pin. It was a good shot. If it would have been a strike, he would not have said a damn word.

  • I Can understand why it was such an important tournament for pete, This is just typical pete weber,

Maybe he gets it from watching all that wrestling lol (Ala: The Crotch Chop)

We need more characters like PDW In bowling, This is what attracts people to watch.

  • He reminds me of Snoop Dogg. Tries to be all tough but could easily get beat up. But yes, I'll have to strongly agree that we need another PDW on the circuit to put bowling on the map!

  • @sigsandstuff They could beat eachother up lol. Now that would be something

  • @sigsandstuff That demeanor is expressed by just about every rapper these days

  • It is always fun when PDW bowls. Got to see this in person woo!

  • Angry PDW = the best!

  • Well i Do feel bad for Pete because its not right at all to do something like that and i don't blame him for being mad at all.

  • I was there! I was to his left somewhere in the back corner in the 2nd row. I saw him blow up at that person. Honestly I didn't see anybody's flash from their camera but I saw him pointing at someone all the way to the far end of my left. I didn't see anybody respond to it. I guess they were too scared to react. I think the only reason why he bitched was cuz he didn't throw a strike. Eh, oh well. Whatever. He lost it the next game though. Too bad, he's still my fave.

  • he heard the shutter. you can hear it in the video as well.

  • I still can't hear it. But it's alright. All that matters is that I was there haha. I'd be pissed too though. He's still my fave.

  • I don't know what's funnier, the outburst or the juvenile commentary from the announcers. I think the PBA is trying to get themselves on Sportscenter. lol. "this is what you want, in bowling, you want more anger" "wait a minute didn't you say you wanted gambling, fighting...." Wow, just WOW!

  • hah i like it tooo :)
