I caught them on video last night in Morristown. I thought maybe a hoax the way the lights seemed to be tied together UNTIL one flew away horizontally. Then the others did one by one and in different directions. I am skeptical too, but I have never seen a balloon fly sideways and certainly not at that rate of speed. Find the balloons and I wiil believe YOU.

I saw these in my backyard on Jan 5th. I had binocs with me and they were definitely flares attached to balloons. Anyone believing this was an UFO is not thinking clearly.

5 helicopters in V-formation...during the latest california wildfires, a lot of firefighting aircraft and helicopters were shuttling over my neighborhood (there's a water reservoir nearby which they use) and i actually saw this a lot, at night and during the day....It was cool at first, and surreal at night but hey, there's the explanation. If it is a balloon then that has to mean that there was some sort of large shape that was attached to the balloon and flares attached. However, that can't explain how flares can form triangles and lines.

I believe in extraterrestrial life. The Milky Way Galaxy is 100 million light years long & 1000 lights years thick. There are 200-400 billion stars likely with many other solar systems. Few planets can support life but considering the size of our galaxy it's hard not to believe in ET life.

As for flares forming triangles and lines, I meant, if they weren't tied up. I don't know if they were tied up or not but how they got it to form into certain shapes and lines is interesting. Were they tied together by a long piece or rope?
