I know i think have been taught the sweep you trap the arm like you were armbarring, then the arm(your) arm reaches behind their back through to their armpit, trapping them close to you and without a post, you then put your other arm inside their thigh, open your guard, and escape the hips into them while pulling the leg sweeping them into mount.. and when you're done if you keep the arm tight. you're in really good position for an arm triangle. plus it looks cool :)
