I don't know how many have noticed but the show has a number of regulars , who are of african descent. This is wayyyyyyy before EEOC and sit-ins. Bravo to Nat Hiken for using these actors.
@richtxn47, good comment! I noticed this when these shows were repeated here in Britain too! They may not have had many speaking parts, but it was good to see a mainstream US 50's show with obviously black faces! Esp when you consider the racial segregation in many parts of America then.
Phil Silvers show brought comedy into our homes that we miss today.
