Color correction isn't hard. All you really want is a little more contrast. That will make the film more vibrant. Just a suggestion. You're awesome btw.
@ttt8699 Still looks great. None of my videos are color corrected, either. I will be doing so in the future now that I have a new work flow I obtained from the folks at GoPro. What type of rope are you using? Im thinking of buying some old airplane cabling. But it's a bit pricey.
Nice work! You have a good eye for composition. It's half the equipment, but the other half setting up the shots you want. Nice job getting the "feel" of the trail (not an easy thing to do!)
Hey this is a really cool idea. Obviously its a little limited but if you're alone it looks like it works really cool, and you got some great shots in this video.
Just a though, have you ever though about using some Parachute cord aka 550 cord. Supposed to hold up to 550lbs and it is very compact. I suspect it may be a bit smaller than what you're using. Just a thought, but anyways, great video/idea for the cable cam.
yeah unigeezer! im really diggin it. i like your set up but how do you attach the lines? do you just tie em off to natural terrain or do you have poles for it. also, does your rollers roll on gravity alone? thanks.
Yeah it's all gravity, but I can slow it down if it's really steep by adding a thing strip of leather over the line in the middle of the rig, and adjusting the tension with velcro. I use trees but you can also use whatever is around to tie to, and I also have steel stakes if I need them.
hey man what's your muni at 1:22 ive been lookin for a muni now and want to know if you like yours.

You go through all of this work for this camera. But then you don't color correct your footage? Haha

@SGTProduction Hmm, you're the first one to mention anything like that. I'm happy with it and compared to the CRAP you find so often on youtube.

Terry, I never realised how simple and awesome this is. Such an elegant effect from such a pleasantly hand-made tool :)

@redwelly Thanks. I've been planning a new video using this system, and hope to get some effects that are hopefully even better!

Well, the solid core nylon cord I use is super strong and really easy to handle and tie & untie knots.
