I cried when Myra(Michelle Thomas) was called home to heaven....she was the only person on the show that love Steven Q. Urkel so much and she was so beautiful :""""""""(......RIP Michelle......1969-1998.....The world misses you and so do I
did this show come on DVD / Blu-ray yet? This show comes on Nick-at-Night before I go to school, and I get up at 6:00 am to watch it. Now it's replaced with Full House. I love this show.
@bossb510 yea, also in the later seasons Steve Urkel became very popular. He actually appeared in one of the episodes of Full House. Without him, the show would kinda....idk wouldn't be enjoyable and hilarious.
@bossb510 I think the show would be lil down rated and gone if he never existed. Urkel kept the show going with his crazy stunts and inventions. He made the show popular up to 9 Seasons and 215 Episodes in 9 Years. He's still everyones favorite T.G.I.F. Icon in the 90's. I wish Nick@Nite can put it back on before I go to school. Now its summer and I can watch it all the time lol
its a rare condition at this day and age to read any good news on the newspaper page. love and tradition of the grand design some people say its even harder to find :) im thirteen and i watch this :D
@bigddagenius I know right!! I was shocked when I first found out..............but then again she never really had an important role on the show and they even kicked her off the show after a a certain season!! Well she gotta keep the bills paid somehow right?? ROTFLMAO!!
@kekewat07 The person that did the theme song to "Family Matters" did the theme to "Step By Step" , "Perfect Strangers", and "Full House" . It was written by Jesse Fredrick, and sung by Bennett Salvay.
Little Richie is played by Bryton McClure. If you want to see what Bryton looks like now, he now plays Devon Winters on "The Young and the Restless" and has even won an emmy for it. For all you young ladies, he's a good looking guy now.
Her parents wanted more money for her to come back for season 2. The producers did not care and let her go. She went up to her bedroom and never came back down. Later in life she made porno movies..Not joking.
I really miss when sitcoms actually had theme songs, now they're only 5 seconds long. At least there's one sitcom that still has one but no names because everyone will thumb me down. I love this song and FM brings back so many memories. I miss the 90s so much.
Aww Jamiee Foxworth :-( I loved this show but I hated how Judy just dissapeared without any explantion. She just went up to her room and was never seen again!
in the '70s, every TV show was about women, in the '80s and '90s, every TV show was about black people, in the 2000s, every show was about gay people... let's see what minority is gonna be the fad in the 2010s...
The reason why I loved this theme song is becuase it brought back wonderful memories of my childhood. Like the time when my friend stole my X-Men cards, or the time when they beat me up, or the time when my family disowned me for constantly giving them a thumbs up while smiling like a squirrel (this was my attempt to be like Michelle from "Full House" show). Anyways, my favorite episode of "Family Matters" was when Carl killed Urkel, only to bring him back as Stephon using Urkel's time machine.
Scratch that. My favorite episode was the one where Carl gets pissed at Urkel, then attempts to murder him, but decides not to after saying, "Three, Two, One. One, Two, Three. What the heck is bothering me?!" Carl then comes back to his normal self and Urkel's life was spared... For now.
Anyways, yeah, remember the episode when Carl and Urkel literally transform into Bruce Lee, accentuating racial sterotypes about Asians, and beat the shit out of that street gang? Well I don't. *cries*
I remember I used to watch this after The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on WXON Channel 20 in Detroit (now MyTV 20). Because Jaleel White (Steve Urkel) did the voice of Sonic!
you got that right i don't think jaleel white was right when he said he wanted a bullet shot at him if he had to play steve again and i wanted to see when Steve & Laura got married
i love this show, but something weird happened on nick at nite, the last episode i saw was when laura gets drunk and kisses steve, than at the end she tells Max that she is falling for steve, than they restart the thing over again, right from the first episode, what happened the other episodes after laura telling Max, it doesn't make any sense.
it's good thing they give this on nick at nite, i just wanna see what happens after laura is out with steve and myra comes in dressed like laura and than myra call the cops.
