A Mule Team Logging

I love it when people care of their animals so well. I've seen some jerks who make their mules and draft horses pull logs when they are skin and bones and malnourished. At first glance it may not seem like they enjoy working and pulling logs but they really enjoy it I think. Whenever we walk over with the harnesses they start running and kicking and even sometimes picking up their harness themselves and throw it haha yours look so well, fit, and taken care of. You got a great looking team.

@94jg Hank and Dan are very special. They love to go places and meet people. We do wagon rides for many charity events, including Wounded Warriors.  They like kids, and if Dan is getting petted Hank will push him over so he can get petted too. I still think however, that logging is their favorite. They don't mind the noise of the saw or anything. I am blessed to have them, they are very dear, and I like others to know how smart and gentle they are. Thank you!

love the old school logging its not a tradition its a way of life. You cant replace a mule with a piece od diesel machinery.

Dan is 17.1hh and weighs a ton. Hank is 17 hh and weighs about 1900 lbs. thank you for your nice comments.

Hank and Dan are 15 yrs old. They do a lot of wagon events, but logging is their favorite. They have pulled some big logs in Tenn. These were just some small cedars and oaks in an area where a truck couldn't get in. Thanks to my friend for the great video!
