Ok I respect you and all but I don't think you understand the difference between racism and prejudism. Prejudism is simply prejudging someone but racism is acting on that prejudice, and I think that that is absolutely not right. I think that prejudism is wrong but I know people will always do it and it's a lot more tolerable than actions towards another race. Don't say you're "ok" with racism, I don't think you meant it but racist people have no respect from me.

The reason racism is bad, is because of the threat those words pose. Yes, going up to someone and calling them a nigger or a paki is never going to harm them. But think of the thousands and thousands of people who have been killed over the years cuz of racism. Those words and posing that same threat to those people. Yes the words cannot hurt them, But how are they supposed to know you dont pose that physical threat? i imagine racism is quite scary for those who it's aimed at.

@Drazon2610 It is still very real, and happens all the time. I have heard plenty of death threats and have seen quite a few black kids get beat up just cuz their skin color. Racism might start with just words, but it can spawn into a lot deeper, more intense hate.
