Can people seriously NOT read sub-texts in song lyrics anymore? He's talking about a first meeting between a boyfriend and the girlfriend's family and how the boyfriend wants to "get some" but wants to be tender about it because its their first time, or her first. ("I know its your first time...."). Jeeze people! Use your brains! Boycot Lady Gaga & listen to real, talented musicians who's songs have a point & thought behind it!

I've always liked this song. Phil's first two albums are brilliant - everything after was hit and miss for me - a few good tracks on every record. But those first two didn't have a lame track on them. Thanks for posting!
