Boxers are known for heart issues and cancer. Certainly not all develop these issues, but it is something to be aware of when rescuing a boxer. Please, avoid going to a breeder. Always rescue!
Unfortunately Elley (the fawn boxer) died May 7, 2008. She was diagnosed with lymphoma, lung cancer, and cardiomyopathy on February 4, 2008. She went into heart failure in the end and died during the night. I will always miss her.
