While, focusing at least 90% of the show to the series since he started working for the show. The second doctor battled the master and sent him into a black hole, which cost him 3 regenerations to escape. Favorite master is Ainley, with Delgado inching closer with each serial I see with him.
John Simm was a freaking incredible Master. Haven't gotten aquainted with any of the others except for Eric Roberts, but John Simm was hilarious, eccentric, weirdly attractive and bone-chillingly terrifying all at once. His Master is in my top 5 best villains of all time (along with the Cybermen, Lord Sauron, Professor Moriarty, and Bellatrix Lestrange).

Gotta say Roger Delgado's master was the best not just because he was the original but because he was mostly calm and sinisterly subtle, Athony Ainley did a good job at that but there was still not that presence that Delgado had. I wish Jacobi had longer in the role because he would have been very good and scary

Meant to mention that when Delgado was in the series, he was in practically every single episode and I remember as a kid, wanting a different villain. Then came the tragic news that he had been killed in a car crash in Turkey. I think he would have gone on and done many more episodes. His performance was amazing. Far less 'camp' than anything that has come since.
The Master will be back, idc what they say just everyone watch and wait. Sn: Rory said he had a banging noise in his head in the episode "Let's Kill Hitler". I love Eric Roberts, but he was no Master. The best I can describe it is that he took a classic British villain and turned him into an American 90's villain; he just seemed too much like the Terminator.
On John Simm you might want to put the ending date as 2010 because all the writers and such said that the master is never coming back. When he gave himself for the Doctor, he completely killed himself.

Oh goodness, the movie was terrible. My friend and I couldn't stop laughing when the Master said, "I want the Doctor's body." because of course we just had to make it into fanservice... Anyway, fantastic video!

Oh and I know how some fans hate to use the books and to a certain extent I agree. While some were probably excellent some have been downright stupid. But the books based on the televised show should be mostly cannon. some say there are contradictions but they are so few that its silly to dismiss the entire book because of one or two differences. And so I will use the books in my story. not the first one of course. not even close. I'm just following in the footsteps of those who came before me.

that the doctor doesn't always thinks before he acts, in that case (spiders story) he had taken a blue crystal at an earlier time of that planet (Metabelios 3) that caused all the problems on that planet in the future.
The Master wanted power. And because the Dr stopped him he then wanted revenge. But not just kill the dr but to humiliate him and prove to the dr that he was smarter and more clever then the dr was. Simms was too much of a whiner. Anthony Ainley was superb. hammy yes, but good.

be more like the old wonderful Master. Who was SUPPOSE TO BE the "Professor Moriarty" to the Doctor's "Sherlock" type character. And nothing more and nothing less. and they were never anything more then Time Lords who were fed up with the restrictions of Time Lord society and wanted more, albeit different things. The Doctor wanted to get involved and to learn things in a fun exciting way. as acknowledged in 'Planet of Spiders' where Kanpo gently rebukes the Dr greed for knowledge to the point

In Rodan goes on to say that due to her ONLY graduating from the Seventh Grade she could only be a glorified Traffic Cop. hardly the job for a Time Lord. Same with the guards. Also there was never any mention of any of the guards (who are shot by whomever) of regenerating. EVER. Whereas those who WERE Time Lords were often heard during down time about their new regeneration.
So River is not a Time Lady or anything close.

characters I use are true to their character. they are just a PG-13 version of themselves and they are involved in a slightly more Doctor Who style story then Torchwood.
I guess the 2 or 3 people reading my story (lol) might complain that only die-hard Doctor Who fans will get certain aspects of the stories and to a certain extent it's true. I use old Doctor Who companions and they occasionally , mention their old (televised lol) adventure with the dr. But for the most part it is a new story,

Moffat's will razzle dazzle some but it will lack substance and it won't really properly acknowledge the classic series. A word here, a flashback here. BORING! While, focusing at least 90% of the show to the series since he started working for the show. Richard Hurdnell to play the role of the First Doctor and many people didn't know that he wasn't William Hartnell. That's how good of a job Richard did. So I ignore stupid rubbish comments like that. Now, the rest could be done but it would be beyond the BBC budget. I get that. But some say it can't be done. What? drawing over (CGI) Tom, Peter (for awhile lol), Colin, and Sylvester and I take their age into account. but since I am just posting it for fanfic, I don't have to. lol

it could be done on tv. It would take 3 or 4 months to do and it would be expensive, BUT it could (theoretically) be done.

John Simm was a freaking incredible Master. Haven't gotten aquainted with any of the others except for Eric Roberts, but John Simm was hilarious, eccentric, weirdly attractive and bone-chillingly terrifying all at once. His Master is in my top 5 best villains of all time (along with the Cybermen, Lord Sauron, Professor Moriarty, and Bellatrix Lestrange).

Gotta say Roger Delgado's master was the best not just because he was the original but because he was mostly calm and sinisterly subtle, Athony Ainley did a good job at that but there was still not that presence that Delgado had. Meant to mention that when Delgado was in the series, he was in practically every single episode and I remember as a kid, wanting a different villain. Then came the tragic news that he had been killed in a car crash in Turkey. I think he would have gone on and done many more episodes. His performance was amazing. Far less 'camp' than anything that has come since.
