saw that too..the channel wasn't foreign for me but i never saw it again for some years and never caught his name. thank you so much for posting this..really been searching quite a time for this lunatic ;)
I have the Andres D. Marvi guitar from Aniello Desiderio. Which He use to perform and record. If you are interested in this instrument pleas contact me
True this guy is AMAZING, Please listen to JULIAN BREAM's RECORDING OF THIS SAME PIECE IN THE 1970's for your ENJOYMENT OF THE INTERPRETATION OF THE MUSIC.
Replace Segovia's head on top in the video. The fingers are nearly the same - big and tapered. Warm tone. Lots of strength, applied tastefully - as required.
Ok, this video is from 2000 and desiderio plays a Marseglia (Napolitano anche lui) since 2005. So I don't know, a Tacchi is a good guess since it does look like a Simplicio headstock..
No... I think you are wrong... I know Aniello personally and even this particular guitar - made by Yuichi Imai from Japan. These are WAY better than Alkis, I have tried many from both! The only part of this video series where he plays an Alkis is the 9th Part (with the background of seaside).
You're correct, AD plays the Alkis on part 9 only, and as you say, the one with the carved headstock is then perhaps an Imai. Have to sharpen them eyes; but both have great sound (Desiderio has a great sound that is..).
Please keep it up! These are great references from a students point of view. Great thing is they are not the usual repertoire....I have to say his playing brings a breath of fresh air to the musical world of the Classical Guitar.
thank you so much for posting this. Since almost ten years im searching some video from this monster. my prefered classical guitar player, bravississimo genio! Cheers from Brasil...
@king3rnie Another nice one that was transcribed is Sonata #9 in B minor that I believe was originally written as Oboe concerto in C. I also like his serenade for flute in guitar in c minor.

Eureka..

you don't have the second movement of this? thats my favorite one.

The guitar is by Italian luthier Alessandro Marseglia..
Thnx for sharing..

This guitar is surely not a Marseglia... It's a cedar guitar made by japanese luthier Yuichi Imai. Great videos, by the way!
classicalguitar2 2 years ago
Wrong..The guitar is an ALKIS, made for him by the Greek luthier after he saw him playing in Greece..check his web site, great guitars.

Don't take my word for it, look at all of the videos from this program, in one of them the label is clearly visible, and reads ALKIS..

treccia 2 years ago
Aniello usually plays guitars by Italian luthiers. From the headstock it has to be a Simplicio copy. Could be by Andrea Tacchi?

grossini8 4 years ago
Complimenti!
grossini8 4 years ago
I believe this was originally composed for piano but I do not know who transcribed it for guitar
rosten736 9 months ago
@rosten736 imho the transcription was made by julian bream - at least i got my hands on one made by him, and it`s the only one i found
never heard of cimarosa until this video - but i really love this exquisite litte piece :-)
btw, it`s not that hard to play - technically - but to make it sound like mr. desiderio does, is completely out of my reach for sure ^^
