I use PS3 and I like the controller but I think they should of made the buttons with smoother edges like your X-box controller, it kinda hurts sometimes when I jumpcancel, I also have a bit of the same problem with the PS2. But still it isn't that bad, your configuration is pretty interesting. It's a good demonstration :)

@9taildfox909 Yes you can, but you can only use it with the 1st slash of aerial wave. (Aerial Wave has 4 slashes, spam the style action button and jump as instructed, and you can spam it already)

I found the best way to jump cancel Scarecrows or Assaults, is to High Time, and then jump above them and quickly shoot pandora, then start jump canceling.

becuase of the pandora attack, you should be above the enemy, giving you a higher chance of JC.

lol wow this is how he jump cancels it is easy once u push the attach button push jump its easyer 2 use with sword style rebellion attack once ur attach button push ur jump button then keep repeating. with nero just attach then jump if the enemy falls pull him 2 u. Try using the style change buttons as jump and attach its just like changing from swordmaster 2 vergils blade.

for beginners to do a jump cancel : while slightly above the enemy in the air , press any attack button then press the jump button repeatedly till you noticed that you just performed the enemy step technique ( dust below your feet ) then do it again right away .

@xin0 JC's aren't breaking the rules of the game. Quite the opposite, in fact, they're using the rules of the game to your advantage. JCing involves using Enemy Step's intentionally programmed ability to reset your midair moves and vertical movement speed to virtually create an endless combo - Very far from breaking the rules of the game.

A jump cancel is when you do an aerial attack then afterwards jump, therefore cancelling your attack. You kinda have to do it right the hit connects.

I just wish that this guy would have explained people what exactly a Jump Cancel is. :/ Because this "tutorial" is shit.

well... it's kind of a combo when you jump,slash, jump in air, slash, jump, slash and so. You can do many hits that way but you need an "enemy step" skill to do this. My english is not perfect so maybe someone will explain this better :P

Watch the DMC3 tutorial by Broly2012 in the related videos. It's simply jumping on the enemy after each aerial attack, so you can spam them indefinitely without touching the ground. Elite players can stay in the air for minutes doing that.

Nah, you can't really buffer much of anything. When I jump, I press jump. When I attack, I press style.

It may LOOK like I'm buffering, because the hand footage isn't PERFECTLY synced to the game footage. But it's all timing.

the reason jump canceling is a little hard is because the enemy starts 2 slide off ur attacks so u have 2 hold the right trigger also and the direction the enemy is in u go and while ur doing that keep jump canceling all u gota do is bring the enemy up in the air go in the direction hes in and ur character wont be jumping on air and hel be jumping on the enemy and u can do this with bosses and dont do it with mega scarecrow unless his face is in the ground so i cant fit anymore but just do this
