Ether - Resores Magic (MP)

Elixer - Restores MP and Health (HP) and leveling up!

For MAX MP, level up* and beat bosses!

*On the stats screen, it says something like "secret level" (or something like that), that is what raises your MAX HP and MAX MP it says by beating special enemies (like bosses), but I have beat all bosses, but haven't got MAX. (CONTINUED IN NEXT COMMENT)

@MaNuZ0NER Get the Skill recipe from Amsems Study, make an AP boost (you must make that otherwise you can't make a magic boost), now you can make them in the Moogle Synthesis shop, but also, evey few levels (probably EVERY few levels, but I know there are some around lvl 80), your magic levels up too! I was 47 (Magic) now I'm 50 (Magic)!

I've never tried it with a lower level spell before, it's much weaker. You'll end up wasting a whole lot more MP that way. So I say get Magnega instead.

Well if it makes you feel any better, I usually do this right after defeating Xemnas the first time. Running through the castle takes a little to no effort (you have to admit, Xig/Saix/Luxord all are easy.)

You can still use Magnera if you want, it's just a lot tougher that way lol. Good luck on the rest of Hollow Bastion though.

@RoxasNova I haven't fought 'em yet so i have no idea if they're easy or hard. But i have to admit, i had some troubles fighting the boss " Scram ' or no idea how he's called. You had to fight 'em in Hollow Bastion, with his icy guitar.

Oh and, do you know if you finish the game, you get any cheats?

To make it work, you need to press Magnera once and wait about 2 seconds for the orbs to drop, instead of spamming the button. If you spam the button, you don't give your MP enough time to replenish. Once your MP is full, press Magnera again.

@RoxasNova Well, if they're set to Sora Attack, then they only use supporting things on you (Potions, Ethers, Cure, etc), and if they can't, they're basically meat shields. That's the only thing I can think of (and yes I know I'm 7 months late on this)

Depends on the weapon you chose in the beginning, they increase the three stats (Str, Def, Mag) based on which struggle bat you chose. Plus, every single stat boost I got in the game was given away to Sora only.

That's because you're doing it wrong, you need the two Exp Boost abilities along with critical hp. Casting Magnega twice will get you 4000-6000 exp in less than ten seconds. Believe me, I do this all the time. TWTNW got nothing on this spot.

Well anywhere near the End of The World works fine, Hollow Bastion especially. Hade's Cup is another great way to get early level ups. Last time I played, I leveled up while gathering Elixers and other synthesis items for the Ultima Weapon and the Crystal Crown.

Make sure you read the description below, it's probably not killing them as fast because your magic level isn't high enough (53 or above will deal one-hit kills) so in the meantime you'll have to stock up on Ethers or something. Be patient, it's actually not too bad before you reach the required magic power level.

@OxyZero I equiped all the Jackpot abilities I learned, I'm not sure if it also affects MP orb drop rate but it's worth a try.
