  • May the prayers and blessings of the Most Holy Theotokos be with you all

very nice Hymn, thanks for the upload Brother

    +IC+XC+NI+KA+

  • @Hairwhoregoddess13

the problem is that you are a sinner in the very moment you call yourself "blessed" :)

by the way: bless the enemy. he shows who you really are.

and be aware of the friend. he dont know you really.

  • Nadherny hlas, hodny bozej milosti. Pozdrav zo Slovenska.

  • beautiful

  • "Matthew 1:24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25 But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus." Want more? STOP with your ignorance and Mary "veneration". Worship of fertility goddesses was very common in ancient history. Some Christians at the time just switched the various pagan goddesses to Mary. Jesus and apostles did not.

  • Eastern Orthodox says Mary " mother" of God was a perpetual virgin, and never had sex. The Bible clearly says Mary was married to Joseph her husband and knew him. Jesus had half brothers and sisters. Who is wrong? The bible or the orthodox church?

  • @ibsd YOU are wrong... the Bible HAVEN"T EVER said she was married to Joseph you dushebag STOP humiliating Her with your speculations! SHE WAS ENGAGED NOT MARRIED TO JOSEPH!!!!!!!

HUMILIATION OF OUR HOLY MOTHER, THE MOTHER OF JESUS IS A HUMILIATION OF GOD HIMSELF

  • @ibsd

joseph was many years older than her. he was married before. he had children before.

a marriage betwenn him and maria would be a no-go. in cultural and biblical way IMPOSSIBLE.

who is wrong? the bible or your understanding?

  • @BakinKoljac I looked in the bible real hard and could find nothing about Joseph being married with children before he met Mary. A marriage is sex and there is no reason in the bible to believe that Mary would not have had sex with her husband.

  • @ibsd

if marriage means only sex for you, its your problem... :)

tell me: how can i know something, the bible dont mention?

  • @BakinKoljac I didn't say it "only" meant sex, but sex is a fundamental part of marriage. You can know lots of things that aren't in the bible, but the point here, is that Eastern Orthodox plainly contradicts the bible. This issue is just getting started on the contradictions.

  • @ibsd

if i know something beyond the frame of the bible, it can only help on better understanding, not contradicting. i think so, at least.

  • @ibsd Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. John 19:25

THE CHILDREN OF HIS MOTHER'S SISTER are the ones called Jesus's brothers and sisters as the jews used to call such relatives (remember Lord Jesus was Called the son of Joseph and the son of David though this wasn't biologically RIGHT), besides there's nothing in the whole scripture of the Holy Bible mentions that Virgin Mary was married after the birth of our Saviour

  • @Hairwhoregoddess13 Mary is the Temple of LOVE. She forgives everything from LOVE. Many people reaches in God's Temple thanks to Her prayers cause there's no other Mother that understands her suns better then Her, cause She was human but She rose above all! She was chosen all from the start, cause God knows the depth of all hearts and the will and the strenght/power of all humans! Be blessed!

  • Прекрасное исполнение, вызывающее слезы. Понимаешь, что в присутствии такой красоты какие-то вещи уже никогда не будешь делать.

  • @irisfermel

  • Amazing beatiful...God bless all Christians!

  • Der Name Gottes,

    Die wärme im Herzen,

    ich danke Dir.

  • wonderful !!!

  • Это самое прекрасное исполнение Песни Пресвятой Богородице, которое я когда-либо слышала! Спаси Господи Дивну и всех православных христиан !

  • such an awesome song its shame peoples even in videos like this have to talk abut politics and bla bla bla

  • са вером у бога,живело православље.

  • Žiaľ mi chýbajú piesne Divny Ljubojevic aspoň v náboženskom vysielaní verejného rozhlasu. Napomáhali by svojou úrovňou k vyššej kultúrnej a etickej úrovni nášho obyvateľstva.

  • Hi,

I am roman catholic living in México (South of USA).

I have been researching about the "Cisma" between Catholic and Orthodox Churchs

and I still don´t understand what happend exactly so I have some questions to you and I hope you can answer me:

-Do Orthodox people believe Virgin Mary is Mother´s God?

-Do Orthodox people believe that Saints like Peter or another Apostle can be an intermediate between God and men?

-Do Orthodox people pray the "Credo Niceno-constantinopla"

    Best Regards

  • @azorvalde My brother Catholice fall in heresy 1054 year, thay say thate Saint Spirit is not same like Father and Son... than all oder lies, that Jeasus was borned in sin (sexual betwen Mary and Josep) ,1879 say thate pope is oder,, God,, on planet, have rights like God on sky, ,,if he want to put 300.000 he can it and nobady have not right to ask him hy,, - that canonised chatolice church.. and that exist hell, paradice and ,,some pleace for cleaning.I hope that God will bring u back to Orthodox

  • @azorvalde

The Orthodox Call the Mother of God THEOTOKOS. Meaning God Bearer! the term Mother of God is Orthodox Theology.

Yes to your second Question. In fact most prayers are intercessions.

The Creed of Constantinople as the name suggests originated from the Heart of Orthodoxy. A city called nicea in modern day Turkey.

  • @azorvalde

If you are Orthodox Christian, your religion was founded in the year 33 by Jesus Christ, the Son of God. It has not changed since that time. Our church is now almost 2,000 years old. And it is for this reason, that Orthodoxy, the Church of the Apostles and the Fathers is considered the true "one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church." This is the greatest legacy that we can pass on to the young people of the new millennium.

  • SERBIAN SONG Богородице Дево FROM DIVNA LJUBOJEVIC

  • As I Lutheran I gravitate towards to the traditional view of Mary that the orthodox church has maintained for 2000 years. I feel as though the Catholic Church has, as they always do, attempted to explain all the mysteries of the faith (i.e. Marian dogmas).

  • @Allante715 yeah, bad Catholic Church trying to understand God! tsk tsk!

  • I am catholic and I love the orthodox church we have some things in common.. God bless and we someday we can be One..

  • @supernatural2029

As a Lutheran, I also hope the the Christian Church will reunite once again.

But the question is - how much time will it to take for the reunification to take place?

  • @supernatural2029 Hi friend. Be assured of reunification. When Christ was taken to Pilatus for judgement St. Peter said to Christ " ..i love u and i will never betray u..". Christ said to Peter" by morning three times u will betray me". Peter said " me ... no never". Bur Peter did betrayed Christ 3 times and when he relised it, he cried and repended. So its pretty obvious. Catholic church betrayed Jesus by the 3 schismata. So as Jesus prophesized one day will realized their betreyal and reunite

  • @UBTUNE I don't think my church betrayed jesus christ, I don't what are the 3 schisms, I just know one between the east and west..maybe you are referring to the protestant but what is the third? I think we have to focus in the things we have in common.. our devotion to our lady and saints.. I believe in heaven we are One.

  • @supernatural2029 May Jesus Christ and Saint Mary be with you always.

  • @supernatural2029 yes you are absolutely correct my brother in the faith in Jesus! we did not commit UBTUNE's so-called "3 schismatas" but rather the Orthodox (1054), the Protestants (1517) and Anglicans (1534) did it. God bless you and advance Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!

  • @UBTUNE st. peter is the first Pope of the Catholic Church, but his betrayal of Christ 3 times does not necessarily reflect the Church's own destiny/fate. please study more carefully our Church history. in addition, we Catholic Christians did not commit any sin of schism. even when the Catholic Church was born on Pentecost, we did not separate from Judaism, until such time when the Jews expelled the Christians from their religion.

  • Μακάριοι είναι οι απλοί και ταπεινόφρονες, γιατί σ' αυτούς ανήκει η Βασιλεία των ουρανών.

  • Hi.

I have some questions to you:

    Where are you from?

Does Orthodox religion believe in Virgin Mary´s Dogma?

Do you know where I can find a description about what Orthodox religion teaches?

    BEst regards

  • !What I never understand is why atheists comment on these videos only to cause a stir with believers. Fact is you will never shake our faith, no matter how much philosophy, theology, 'clever words' or debate is brought to the table. Fancy words can be used but God's knowledge and wisdom exceeds all humans. There are countless unexplained miracles as proof of His existence but people do not wish to believe still. We have our free will, so we shouldnt argue, the Truth will come out in the end +

  • @Anastassia777 His comment would have been much nicer had he not said words like "myths" and "nonsense." Had he simply said he thought out of the three religious beliefs Christianity had the most beautiful art, but he can not believe in Christianity, it would have been a very complimenting comment. I respect all beliefs (and lack there of), but I can't understand why people insist on insulting us on our's. Makes me a bit sad.

  • @DarkAnderebu I think people insult Christianity because it's so PURE and what they can't understand is that it brings so much happiness to people's lives - they try to question it and destroy people's faith! But it won't worth..as long as we all stay strong and not argue with people who refuse to believe the Truth! we're all entitled to our own beliefs! In an ideal world, people who have nothing nice to say wouldn't comment on such beautiful music by criticising Christianity, but Kyrie Eleison

  • Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners.

  • voice from heaven 5 stars from Greece.

  • Mary, I love you so much. Oh mother...

  • As an atheist I find it quite interesting that of the three Abrahamic myths, Judaism, Christianity and islam, it is Christianity alone which has created the most overwhelmingly beautiful art in the form of architecture, music and painting.

There is no doubt of the beauty of this song. No doubt of its rapture. No doubt of it's sincerity.

I like to listen to it and I like to visit churches for their peaceful tranquility...but I can never believe nonsense, no matter how beautifully it is presented

  • @cleverfeller To the believer, no explanation is necessary, to the unbeliever, no explanation will suffice. I find it interesting that you are drawn to the beauty of Christian art in its multiple forms. You should ask yourself why an atheist is not instead repulsed by anything religious or spiritual and accept that a yearning in your heart, soul is drawn to these expressions of the Uncreated One who made us.

  • @1Thorefan

Well if a believer requires no explanation, then why is theology studied at all? Isn't the study of old Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek and Latin texts along with archaeological evidence which might either corroborate or challenge them the search for a kind of explanation?

And aren't believers involved in that search?

And contrary to your assertion, a convincing explanation would suffice to change my mind. It is precisely the lack of it which makes me an atheist. Thanks for a civil comment.

  • @cleverfeller And thank you for a civil reply. I have an atheist in the family so I have experienced first hand this type of response to religious faith. I believe that theology is studied to improve our knowledge of God, not to prove God's existence. It is about faith, basically. A person who believes and loves God wants to know all about God, as well as our limited human understanding will allow and God will permit!

  • @cleverfeller well put.

  • @cleverfeller That should speak to you my friend.

  • @cleverfeller Christianity is a no-nonsense religion, for Christ's death in the cross brought the salvation of mankind from sins, and His death is not nonsense. Christian music and architecture brings us closer to God. May the Lord have mercy upon your soul.

  • @cistercianus

    And do you think that unto such as you;

    A maggot minded, starved, fanatic crew;

    God gave the secret, yet denied it me;

Well well, what matters it, believe that too.

If there is a great mysterious, conscious creator, I am certain it isn't the one described by Jews, Christians or muslims. That much I am certain of. So I will die with no fear of your cruel god in my mind. I'm beyond the reach of your vengeful, Abrahamic diety or his alter-ego, satan.

  • @cleverfeller ok by the way you have your own soul, we merely just cared for the terrible and ETERNAL damnation that you are going to undergo in hell. best luck in hell, my friend, but may the Divine Mercy of Jesus Christ be poured upon you!

  • @cleverfeller I am sorry you see God as cruel. Hopefully one day, you will understand he is not and maybe even pick up the Bible just to give it a read. You have the right to believe that if there is a god it is not God. However, please do not use that as a defense to attack a faith that is based on tolerance. It does not help your case and makes you look like a fool. God bless you, for he loves everybody. Even sinners, since we all are.

  • @cleverfeller

it is nice for a change to have an open minded atheist. However, i do believe when we die we will finally see the complete truth, whatever it may be. peace :D

  • @cleverfeller nonsense? i am an intellectual person but still i'm a christian. I do agree with you, that some things do seem like nonsense, but the main message seems noble to me. I'm very interested in philosophy, so i do question everything. but after questioning a lot, i have found that one can't live without making some decisions for oneself. In the end, all ideals, morals and ethics can't be fully explained scientifically, in the end, how and why you lead your life is a matter of faith.

  • @cleverfeller Don't take any of my comments the wrong way, but it just seems extreme calling it "nonsense". I can fully understand you not believing it, people are always entitled to their beliefs, but insulting faith is just not needed. I see that you are civil in most of these discussions, and I respect that. Please do not take any of this as me talking down to you, I see you as an equal with differing beliefs.

  • @cleverfeller Search on youtube: 'Case for Christ",it's an atheist explaining how he began to believe in Christ after analising the scientific proofs of His existence.

  • And interesting how the modern world says that Christianity do not create arts, architeture, etc...

Maybe Rome not, but look the Eastern :p

  • @cleverfeller everything takes time....

  • erotica53:

There have never been such distortions which you allude to. There have been different emphasis and developments but in essence the Faith in both Churches remains identical.

We have had to face up with the protestant heresy, which attacks not the nature of Christ, but the nature of Grace and the nature of the Church. Therefore, many of the dialectical weapons of the West were designed to contrarrest protestatism and are alien to the East. It is simply so.

  • @C2209w

Protestants attacked the corruption of the priests. Martin Luther attacked the catholic habit of selling ''grace'' as you call it for coin.

The protestants risked their very lives to stand up for poor people who were being robbed by your priests. Who were being told that they could buy themselves out of sin. So please don't attempt to sidle up to Orthodox Christians in order to attack Protestants. It isn't long ago catholics were butchering Orthodox Christians in Jasenovac. Ask Serbs.

  • @willwak Protestantism is nothing but 16th and 17th Century revisionist Christianity. You accept sola scriptura without realizing that the Bible is a product of the Church councils. From your questions I can see that you are in complete IGNORANCE of Orthodoxy or the origins of Christianity. I suggest you educate yourself first before making such absurd comments as asking if Orthodox Christians worship Mary, saints or objects. Your ignorance is offensive...

  • @AegeanKing

With a name like AegeanKing, and claiming to believe in a faith of miracles and magic, you have no room to accuse others of being '' Absurd''

Lol you and your Abrahamic brothers in Judaism and Islam never cease to make me howl with laughter.

  • @cleverfeller Muslims are not my "abrahamic" brothers. Secondly, in the context of Theology I have more than enough room to call somebody absurd. The topic is to advanced for your underdeveloped atheist brain...

  • Comment removed

  • @AegeanKing

My brain is fine, Moses...and as far as theology is concerned, nobody ever has enough room to talk clap-trap to me and pretend it's intellectually rigorous.

Isn't islam along with judaism and christianity an Abrahamic faith? And isn't 'brother' a reference to kinship which might be taken as a metaphor rather than in the literal sense? And isn't there such a kinship between the three so called Abrahamic faiths? Then isn't it reasonable to call a muslim your Abrahamic brother?

  • @cleverfeller The answer is NO to all of your questions. Islam is not an Abrahamic faith. It only claims to be. If I start a new religion today and claim Abraham as a prophet does that also make me now a new abrahamic faith?? i guess Baha'ism is also an Abarahamic faith because it also claims Abraham as a prophet. Islam has ZERO linkage to Christianity. It is an invention of a desert nomad who took the old and new testament and rearranged the words.

  • @AegeanKing

The quiestions where rhetorical. I didn't require an answer. I know the answer... that islam is an Abrahamic faith. The muslims not only believe in Abraham as a prophet but they revere the virgin Mary and the prophet jesus (isa, I think they call him). Many of the myths of Christianity can be found in the Koran. Not least Adam & Eve. To say there are no parallels between christianity and islam is simply not true.

  • @cleverfeller There is good reason for that. Islam came 600 years after Christianity. Christianity was well established in the region. Muhammad was a traveling merchant who came across jews and Christians on a daily basis. In fact, his neighbor was jewish. The Qur'an is nothing but the old and new testament re-worded. Anybody who has ever picked it up can tell that right away.

  • @cleverfeller by the way, Baha'i also see Jesus as a prophet. So my point still stands...

  • @AegeanKing

No your point fails miserably.....can't you see that you are merely showing the connection between christianity and another faith. It doesn't diminish the connection between islam and christianity because you find another connection between christianity and the baha'i. You merely introduce ANOTHER connection. If you cannot see a simple and obvious thing like that, then I must conclude what I first thought when you made snide comments about my brain.....you don't have one yourself.

  • @cleverfeller haha owned him :)

  • @willwak The faith in God is untainted. I wouldn't say that the faitful murdered anyone. Were those butchering Orthodox in the name of God Catholic just because they labeled themselves so? I read an interesting comment by a Greek Catholic who insisted that a declared atheist couldn have more faith than someone who calls himself a Christian. The faith shows not in words, but in deeds. It is a sin to not stand the test of temptation. That sin however is not the faith, but an absence of it.

  • Beautiful picture, and music too, of course =)

  • May God bless the pure and holy Theotokos! May God bless his Orthodox People throughout the world!

  • Very beautiful indeed, even though i don't understand what she is saying. But never the less, it moves me when i listen to it. God bless you all.

  • @peaceofmindfull

If some1 think that i translated something wrong just say. :)

    I translated for you. :)

    Virgin Mary,rejoice yourself, gracefull Mary, God is with you;

You are blessed between woman, and your fructificated belly is blessed, because you bring forth the saviour of our souls.

  • I love my my mother virgin mary so much!

The orthodox faith hade never rejected our blessed mother mary and our savior jesus! We praise them soo much even more than the catholics! I really want to pray for unity now...

  • Christos pantoktrator!!!

  • May Mother Mary, whom her Immaculate Conception and Assumption is constantly rejected by the Orthodox, pray for Catholics in Russia, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Moldova and Serbia, so that they will remain frim and faithful until the end.

  • Have you lost your mind, woman! Who lied to you that Orthodox Christians have rejected Mother Mary and Jesus? Do you not understand a word of what Divna is singing? ALL is about Mother Mary and Jesus! It is the Catholics who distorted our christian faith first! I can make a list of all the distortions by catholicism if you are interested!

  • @erotica53

Are you saying that Orthodox Christians believe that Mary, the mother of Jesus is or was divine? Do catholics believe that? Do you also believe that saints are divine? Do you have an unlimited number of ''objects'' to which you pray? You see, this is why jews and muslims have a hard time believing that Christianity is a monotheistic faith at all. And if you are honest, you can see their point, can't you. They pray to one god and one god alone. That is what mono-theism means.

  • @cistercianus I wonder how true this is about both, I mean, isn't it a matter of symantics? Don't the Orthodox revere her as most Pure? Isn't that another way of saying Immaculate? I remember the Olympics in Greece a few years back. On August 15, there were hardly any spectators and the announcers said it was a religious holiday in Greece, just like for Roman Catholics, so I don't agree that they don't accept the Assumption. Maybe they express themselves differently than us Roman Catholics.

  • God dless oll the orthodoxs nations!!! I.C.X.N BBBB

  • GOD bless You !

  • Great video! I love that icon of the Most Holy Theotokos. Some people forget that she really was like 12 or 13 years old when she gave virgin birth to the Incarnate God! How amazing is it that she birthed, fed and cared for the Incarnate God when He was an infant and child! What an honor to birth the Incarnate God Jesus Christ! Our Lady is truly special. Our blessed intercessor.. how much Christ loves her.

  • All-holy Mary, pray for the one holy, catholic and apostolic, the orthodox church. Amen.

  • I love Mary, Mother of God, Mother of the Monogenes, Christos Pantokrator, and may she intercede on behalf of Catholic Christians that the Orthodox believers finally return to the true Catholic faith! Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit! As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen!

  • I love Theotokos, God bless Orthodoxy in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and forever, and unto ages of ages, amen!!!
