All of those ingnorant dummies out there that don't believe their tails may become broken just go ask your vet. My lab had this happen and the Vet called it Happy Tail. Yes my lab now has a docked tail because of the infection that came with him snapping his tail. Once it is snapped it there is really nothing they can do because ALL dogs naturally love to wag their tails.

To prevent unnecessary pain in life, Boxers MUST be docked. The pain endured from a tail docking procedure, pales in comparison, to the excruciating pain of a mangled, broken tail later in life.

Millions of dog owners aren't hurting puppies. They're preventing a horribly painful and expensive procedure later in life.

what are you talking about? i never heard of a boxers tail snapping off and blood pouring from the tip.. my boxer has her tail and shes fine... and she whips it around more than you can imagine... removing tails isnt required at all.. its just for tradional looks now.. farmers used to do it because boxers used to herd bulls and large animals so the tails would get in the way if the dog would fall with the large animal on it ect.. not because the tail generally just breaks because they whip it...
