I saw Hawk late one evening and it seemed to be similar in production to a Hammer House of Horrors film.

I enjoyed it and as a Doctor Who "enthusiast" from way back I am accustomed to low budget and somewhat cheesy shows. :) As a viewer I make allowances and use a little imagination.

This is a big winner on my "so bad it's good" movie list... a guilty pleasure. The Deathstalker movies have no class compared to this gem. Every line is so awfully good, and the score is so freaking strange.

I remember seeing this in the cinema, it was shown before the 1980 remake of Flash Gordon (Back in the days when they always showed a film before the main one) I remember enjoying it more than Flash Gordon, low budget but good.
