Hmm, I have the A6-3400m and WEI for gaming graphics is 6.5 and with a little OCing with K10stat processor is now 6.8 (1.8ghz - 2.5ghz turbo) and that's without overvolting.
i have an ACER, AMD quad-core A6-3600M 2.3 Ghz, AMD Radeon HD 6520g, 512Mb graphic memory, 6 Gb Ram, 500 GB Hard disk, should battlefield run well and smooth on at least low setting? i dont know how well this laptop can run the game so i havent bought it yet, plz help :)
yeah, i think WEI is all messed up. i have an a4-3300m & it gets a 6.5 in gaming graphics. there's also no way the dude below me got a 7.3 in memory if he has 4gb.
@machomamajr according to notebook check, they are pretty damn close to the same. of course the 6520G relies heavily on good system memory. the fastest you can feed it the better. get some 1333 in dual channel and it probably could even beat the 520m.
@haxfactory Yeah i just got gt 520m its running well, although i had some problems with nvidia optimus. It never ran on the 520m card just on board and nvidia drivers are not supported with 520m....
This laptop comes with an APU which means there is no video card and there is no CPU. CPU + GPU = APU. APU save battery life and give more performance than entry level notebook video cards. This APU gives you DirectX 11 support. APU have low heat output. APU eats up some of your system memory for graphics.
@DragonFighter708 yes thets right but remember with a demanding quad core laptop comes great advantages... the laptop i want to get is great, it has an APU but the memory is outstanding its quad core AMD A6-3400M processor 640GB SATA hard drive! AND 4GB ram wich can go up to 8GB so with great power usualy come great memory options

6520G > 520M. It tops 1 level on the graphics card hierarchy.

AMD Radeon HD 6520G or NVIDIA GeForce GT 520M?
machomamajr 2 months ago
@machomamajr If AMD Radeon HD 6520G is cheaper than NVIDIA GeForce GT 520M then buy AMD Radeon HD 6520G.

I have the benchmark settings to 1280 x 720 (HD). If I set it to 800 x 600 I will get high ~ 60 fps.
