How are you doing? It's fantastic what you guys are doing Ive wanted to do something like this for years to teach kids. Have you ever thought of franchising or expanding to a number of different states including here in alabama? I'd be keen for some insight of how to go about setting up something like this as an after school activity or drop in centre type thing. Yes, we have had a waiting list for several years now so next summer (2009) we're thinking of doing 2 sessions. Some kids have already said they want to come to both.

The bands choose the songs they want to play and sometimes write one of their own.

I'd say there's a good chance you could talk you band members into that song. Most of the students like classic rock, but there's alot of variety.

Yes. We are in Garden City, Long Island, NY 11530. It's a 2 week program that has a finale concert at a huge club in Wantagh, NY...Mulcahy's.

We do have some advanced students you could play in a band with...

It's a two week program that ends with a concert at a major music venue (Mulcahy's in Wantagh). There are workshops in recording, songwriting, the music business, etc.

Top shelf. There's something about Long Island. Was born there in 53. Now we live on a ranch out west and perform in LA and all over. Just won a battle of the bands and opened for Quiet Riot. Check out Chez 12 and Nikki 16 both have only been on bass and drums little more than two years. Hard work and a love for what you are doing and things can happen. Great Camp!
