@USPhotoRecon unless you re a top of the line drummer, where you have a team that carries and set your drums, its very important! I dont have in mind hardware that stay in a practice room forever, but stuff that you have to carry on your back almost every day.

that's a light thick rimshot sound right there.

lightly hit a rim shot with as close to the centre of the stick as possible and in the middle of the drum. aiiiiite

Cearleywine..Canopus Drums has a product named Bass Drum Riser for the adjustment of the beating point so it can work with regular bass pedals=)

They have the bass drum riser but that's only if you want it to sound bigger you can have the bass drum on the floor (it already sounds big this way), and the pedal still works on it. They use a regular tom head on the 15" bass drums but trust me it doesn't sound like a tom, I have the Club Set and it sounds really nice.

I'm really looking for something that sounds like an 18 inch but is quieter, is the 15 any thing like that?
