I agree, most of the people who like Crystal Skull seem to be teens/early 20s who didn't see the original movies when they were first released. The new one seemed too over-the-top and cgi-filled, a fault of most blockbusters today. The clever style of the originals has been lost.

That's a good point about the CGI. Good special effects are supposed to make the audience believe, to make the audience feel that they have seen images which resemble what the situation might look like could it happen in "real life". CGI just looks like all the video games of today. Sure, it will continue to improve in the future, but the style used in Crystal Skull, Spider Man, The Mummy and the like will all seem dated and corny about ten years from now.

The film critics are totally wrong about this great film. They also blew it on Wild Hogs. I am beginning to see a pattern here. We just saw it and you will not be dissapointed. It is a fantastic 'FAMILY' action film of Indy proportions and what appears to be his prodigy for sequels. Hang on for more 'Indy'. The critics are out of touch with family society. 126 mil opening weekend just proves it. Go INDY!

Yeah that'd be cool! Really its not hard though. Just take like an inflatable dummy and hit it with a car. Then film the car going in reverse and the actor walking backwards. Reverse the footage with the car and actor and then edit on the dummy getting hit and bingo, hit by a car effect. I should the reason you fill the car and actor backwards is so you don't really hit the person. That would be *really* bad, LOL.
