I didn't like it that much. I'm brazilian and I don't think it was deep at all. Al least not compared to their work on other cultures. But that's just me... I 'm not saying it is bad, just not as good as their previous work (specially their first albums).

@feuip Nobody is ever as good as their first albums. You gotta untrain your ears & just expect that the future albums from an artist isn't going to sound like the previous albums. Artists don't want to sound like their previous work anyway & it takes incredible leaps to sound even better than their ground-breaker albums that put them on the map. It's a rare thing when it actually happens, so enjoy each attempt.

@shitmandood I do understand that, but I didn't like the lyrics and the way the rhythms were used. It's not really about the sound as much as it is about what their previous work represented. This album (and this is just me) did not say anything about Brazil that can be considered deep! I know it talks about how nature is important and things like that, but it doesn't make me feel as if they were trying to actually show the brazilian culture. Maybe I have misinterpreted what their work is about.
