I didnt know neutered rats live longer. Thats why I was hesitant about getting more rats because my rats in the past didnt live very long. I really miss having rats

I HAD 2, now i just have 1... *cries* but i agree, they're great pets, if i get my way, i'll be getting a 4th batch of them after Spongebob, well, ya know... and *IF* i get my way, i'll get three instead of 2! i LUV rats!

I've found that keeping four rather than two, has had such a good uplifting effect on them. They feel happier, safer and plus, if one dies, you won't have one left on his/her own and so you won't have to rush out to get another one as a companion. I've just generally found you have loads more fun with four naughty rats in your family :)

Bless you all for saving these sweet little critters. These little ratties are smart as dogs, they don't bite, their "odor" is not unlike that of grape soda (!), and they are clean, know their names and can be litterbox trained! I know..i have 10 !!! In fact, I have two sitting my shoulder as I write this comment! Best wishes to the Shelter folks who rescued these little ones..and blessings to the persons who adopt some of them...

The local chinese restaurant owner was interested but was denied of adoption of 100 rats but he got the rabit and the cat.

It's been a while since this video was posted. I wonder how many rats got homes, and what happened to the rest. Rats are amazing pets. I was glad to learn that they're allowed as pets in my dorm room. I went out and bought two young girls and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. They're fun and always make me smile when I see them.
