And yes you can drift a European car. Simply watch Top Gear to see it happen.

Its Twin is stock... It wasn't tuned. That BMW was sporting an heavier V8 and the car itself was heavier overall, that's why it lost, if that Supra would have been tuned, it would have destroyed it.

@CemetaryGatesML Is your uncle Japanese? only in japan was the spec ever rated at 276 and that was due to the agreement at the time regarding power outputs as i've already explained they are not 276 and dyno an around the same as the euro/us versions and since you are Japanese the euro versions had 326hp and the us had 320hp, the j-spec vvti twin turbo has 338lb/ft standard compared to the us/euro 315 so you still think it has 276hp. check the supra forums and you will find out.

Its Twin is stock... It wasn't tuned. That BMW was sporting an heavier V8 and the car itself was heavier overall, that's why it lost, if that Supra would have been tuned, it would have destroyed it.

if that supra was stock... as the M3 is... it would loose. because for that supra to hang with the M3 its gotta be pusking out at leased 400hp.... and they only came with 276 stock.

@CemetaryGatesML The Japanese version had 276hp. All stock cars were limited to 276hp in Japan. But, other countrys had more hp. The U.S version had 320hp. This is probably the euro version with more hp.

@hashiriya007 my uncle had one of these, turbo supra, he told be it had 270hp. maby i did have 320.
but then again thats were the light modds come inhandly to bypass the limiter and get the full 350ish Hp that the cars capable of.... regardless this video has a modded supra vs a stock M3. Stock for stock that M3 would kill that supra.. it only one by 1/2 a length... thats a diffrence between a bad shift.

@CemetaryGatesML They didn't come with 276 stock, that was the maximum power limit agreement at the time in japan but by the time the mk4 supra and r34 skyline were introduced they couldn't put out as little power as that, the dyno figures for both cars mentioned there are around 320-330hp and you've got to remember the Supra is nearly a quarter of a ton lighter than the M3 and it also has more torque

yea the M3 is heavyer... but it still runs a faster time on the qtr mile.
and with simple mods the supra can easly hit 33hp... thats what my uncle did... but then again, thats a mod

@CemetaryGatesML Is your uncle Japanese? only in japan was the spec ever rated at 276 and that was due to the agreement at the time regarding power outputs as i've already explained they are not 276 and dyno an around the same as the euro/us versions and since you are Japanese the euro versions had 326hp and the us had 320hp, the j-spec vvti twin turbo has 338lb/ft standard compared to the us/euro 315 so you still think it has 276hp. check the supra forums and you will find out.

no doubt the supra had a powerfull engine, i already said it does. simple mods and its a monster.
but you cant argue that the supra is much faster than the M3... as we see here.

yea there are more vids of supra beating M3, then the other way around... but thats an easy explanation...its because of how much easyer it is to get a Supra fast. just like camaro's, mustangs, etc...

my uncle had one, he said 276 is what toyota said, but 326 is easly achivable with a simple chiptuner

You are wrong sorry. The japanese version had 280hp... at least on forms. But the european version of the Supra had stock 330hp becuase the 280hp regulation only counted for Japan, but not for Europe.

The supra was throttled to 280 hp in japan due to the gentlemannes agreement.
Japan being the actual origin of the car, most sources will refer to the J-spec model and say 280 hp.
All the export models outside japan however had 330 hp.

@CemetaryGatesML Are you still writing about your uncle and his broshure about the j-spec 280ps horsepower limit that none of the japanese manufacturers bothered with, i will tell you again, j-spec skylines and supras were all supposed to have 280ps but all dyno around the same figure as the euro/us versions, the J-spec is however much better at handling than the euro/us versions as it has a firmer ride, less sound insulation and is lighter.

@CemetaryGatesML Thats great, if you are talking about the uk/euro spec then check out any good website and you will find the uk spec has 326hp, the us spec has 320 due to lower fuel octane and the j-spec has ( 276hp even though that was a lie)
