I loved Kieko and Luna. They are the best orcas in the world. RIP to both. I will miss them so much. I'm upset how they died. Kieko passed away of old age, and Luna passed away of a tug boat.
@AmazingMermaid Actually Keiko died of of pneumonia unrelated to his age. (Though he was 27, which is old for a captive whale. Wild orcas typically live to be about 35.)
RIP my sweet and adorable kliier whale LUNA (B:1999-09-19 D:2006-03-10) he was only 6½ years old. Still very angry about the way he passed away. But I know he,s now having fun in HEAVEN/PARADISE with the GOOD HUMANS, his family and others who's having fun with him. When my times gonna come, I will spend and wished to have great times with that lovely killer whale name LUNA. His story is very new to me and I'm thinking a lot about LUNA...he was and still be THE GOD OF KILLER WHALE in my HEART!
@dumaslovemusic i agree he was too sweet to die. i can't believe he was killed by propellers from a tugboat. at least he is having a great time in orca heaven with his mom and brother
@AnimalFanaticNumber1 I don't live near where Luna lived, but from the videos I've seen, Luna did allow people to pet him, but if I remember right officials started fining people for getting close to him.
Yeah teach the whale to rub up against a propeller... very smart. Idiots like this are the reason this whale died

Poor Luna was killed by a boat motor. He loved to play with boat motors and that was his demise. =(
