I know that lab techs give animals numeral names so as not to get attached to them, as they will die, but being so callous about it is such an atrocity to any researcher.

One thing to keep in mind. I have found out that there was over 100 hours of these videos, and it's been edited down to under 30 minutes. Through editing, you can make it look like anything you want. Also, most of these test was done in the 1970s, the rules she keeps quoting were put in place in 1986. I really don't like monkeys, but I got sick when they were laughing and making fun of it. Even through editing, you look so unprofessional. How could anyone take the results seriously?

Just curious here... How many of you who are watching this video have had polio? AIDS? Cancer? Diphtheria? Rabies? Cholera? Syphilus? Diabetes? Asthma? Tuberculosis? Brain damage? Have you ever had surgery? If the answer is yes to ANY of those, chances are, animal testing has helped you in some medical way. Obviously this video is cruel to watch, but it's very outdated, and for all you know, animal testing could be the reason you're alive today.

I just do not understand why these people have to try to make it worse than it is. The torture of animals is bad enough, but when you edit and lie to make it look the way you want it to, you remove all your intregity. Labs today don'y use the same type of equipment as shown here, and if a vid existed of smoking, you would be fired on the spot.

God, you people are arguing about the wrong thing. It's not in the idea of the experiments that is wrong (it's a necessary evil), but the way the experiments are executed. Exactly how many times did the narrator said in this movie that they have broken the rules of standard operations and experiments ? Many times indeed. The people who work at these places should have their IQ tested first, then their medical knowledge, because, clearly, the first one is lacking.

AIR is 21% oxygen. Pure oxygen is NOT flammable. Nitrous oxide is also NOT flammable. Neither of these gasses are "highly dangerous". Whoever wrote the script for this is as incompetent as the researchers depicted in the film.
