  • Does anyone know of any sites that will allow you to download youtube videos WITH subtitles?

  • @caytieeinfinity Click the CC button

  • @MissErinMurphy I'm well aware of that. As you clearly didn't read my comment well enough, i said DOWNLOAD. If you simply click the CC button and try downloading this video, the subtitles don't come with it.

  • Can anyone tell me how to turn off the google beta version of the audio translation? none of the english makes sense.

  • is the actress in 05:46 played the role of maria???

  • @Denz2507 No, Olga. If you remember Alexandria talks about the Doctor that is coming in to help Alexie is also helping Olga who has turned to her bed, due to illness.

  • I really enjoyed this portrayal of the life of the last Imperial Family of Russia. They seemed perfect in publicity-machine photos and during the Romanov Tercentary (Jubilee) of 1913. But they were all still very human with many human flaws. Nicholas II should have never been a Tsar. Undoubtedly the Soviet Union (which saw the Romanovs murdered, as well as God knows how many innocent Russians) made things worse. But Nicholas should have known better on so many counts.

  • They remind me alot of the french royal family during the french revolution. The weird thing is empress alexandra was a distant relation of marie antoinette.

  • We all know the Communist government that came after Nicholas was worse. But that doesn't constitute a legitimate defense of his actions. He was at the very least a incompetent bastard who caused the deaths of millions of innocent people and at the very worst a sadistic tyrant who purposefully murder his own people either way he was not fit to rule a country.

  • Silly me. If you're looking for the english subtitles, click the CC button. :)

  • Nicholas was a bad leader of a country, thats true. Because he caused the deaths of million of Russian soldiers on Easter front. Why they blamed Nicholas? Because the dumb general was killed himself to not to take the blame. Nicholas took all the blames. But his family and himself shouldn't be deserved to be executed. This is what makes a communist government to be evern worse than its precede.

  • Is there possibly an english version somewhere?

And really, what a man will do for his family triumphs in the end. It was atrocious in the end they all lost their lives for one man's mistake.

  • English, please.

  • thank you i've been long wanting to see a movie about this great family. even though i dont understand a damn word they said, who cares, its in colors and it will be practice for my ears since i'm trying to learn russian.

  • c'est ce qui arrive a tout dictateur

  • ca a pas duré leur chimere ils se sont fait flingué

  • Massie's book is excellent...no fiction can beat the sad drama of their lives

  • Any idea where you can get this in english?

  • @HeadingForward Click on the cc button on the toolbar on the youtube screen, youll have subtitles in English!

  • español

  • they were foolish, selfish people---but they didn't deserve what fate had in store for them

  • why didn't they try to get away? any body know? and why didn't other royals help them to do so? the parents were so foolish--they sealed their kids death warrents by not leaving in 1917 when the govt was still somewhat moderate.

  • @windstorm1000

you have to remember this is during WWI. Due to the war, help was hard to come by. Especially once the revolution took place. And the other royals in their extended family who could help waited untill it was too late to do anything. Not to mention most didnt consider really the fact that the Revolutionaries would ever kill woman and children. For years afterwards, their own goverment helped spread rumors about the supposed survival of the Tsarina and her daughters.

  • The actress playing Alexandra looked very familiar but I couldn't place her until today. She is the same actress who played Helen Herriot in the BBC production of All Creatures Great and Small.

  • They were undoubtedly very nice people, but they had absolutely no business running a country.

  • @manuelherrera777 Good point; if only Nicholas II had chosen to become a constitutional monarch, as in the UK or Denmark, things might have worked out differently.

  • @manuelherrera777 True, but none the less they didn't deserve what happened to them. :(

  • @manuelherrera777 Nikolas - 2,betrayt Russia, saym like M.Gorbachef.They bolt refusing to be on tap of the cantry in very dificalt tiym.

  • @manuelherrera777 yeah, that whole oppression thing? organized pillaging, murdering, and raping of jewish villages? yeah, they were pretty nice.

  • @mrshmuly1 You do know that anti-semitism was very common in Europe in the XIXth and XXth century, right? Kaiser Wilhelm II often critizised his uncle (Edward VII) of having Jewish people in the British Royal Court. In Russia it wasn't any different - the Russian government blamed Jews for bad things that happenned to their country.

Overall, you can't obviously deny that the Romanovs - especially Nicholas II and his nuclear family were nice people - but bad rulers.

  • @AvatarMarxon90 Nikolay II had a golden heart. He had plenty of enemies working against him pretending they were his friends. Many of his cabinet members who were Jews gave him false advice and misinformation feeding him nothing but rubbish blaming him for everything that went wrong in the country. Jews and Communist had an agenda to murder the Czar,& his family steal the country's wealth divide the stolen goods among the butchers, change their names & open banks in New York.

  • @manuelherrera777 Exactly what I think.

  • @manuelherrera777 Perhaps so but thats no excuse to kill them.

  • @manuelherrera777 Kind of like Marie Antoinette: Kind, but unable to rule :( of course she was only a teenager, but in the 1700s, fourteen was the equivalent of today's thirty because the lifespan was so much shorter

  • well they got the Imperial train right, and Alix's treatment of Nicky as a child, along with her continual prodding to make the people "fear" him.

  • The lead actor, playing Nicholas, rates an utterly freakish and disturbing physicality, paired to a dork-like temperament, amounting to a distorted char·cu·tier -- utterly repulsive ... His too deep and overly wide-set, IODINE DEFICIENT, eye-sockets and challenged near-wall-eyed darting eyeballs, drive me to distraction -- why him; a mockery on yet another score against the Romanovs -- weird!

  • @CarCriticAssessor yeesh man thats brutal

  • Comment removed

  • the locations ... of course, cannot be bested; and, the extras appear in order ...

  • these bug-eyed IODINE DEFICIENT freaky looking actors look like the ROMANOVS -- only in a Tim Burton èsque manner ... sickening multi-layered BRAINWASHING MIND-WTF operation, at least: sick. The Romanovs were good looking people ... this vid production rates dross.

  • Your video displays ridiculously difficult to read content; your introductory speech should expound earlier upon the reasons for your breakthrough news.

That said, it appears, too, that you, Stanford's Professor Knight et al may well have missed the mark entirely -- which, paradoxically, might, surprisingly, prove a boon for resurrection of eg. Anna Anderson's claim -- mainly ... CHIMERA; covering eg.Grand Duchess Elizabeth or Alexandra having more than two DNA profiles between em: Get

  • This movie is so pro-tsarist =) but its still a cool movie

  • Be more mathematic you ok? When I will make baby also I think to make with you again, coz we have jurassic park with you in Poland.

  • WHY is it, whenever a movie is made about the Romanovs, the focus is always on Nicholas and Alexandra, and Alexei? How come the four daughters are always cast as beautiful (which they most certainly were!) but silent spectators?

  • everyone is commenting in english but the movie is in russian, I wanted to see this but I can't understand it.

  • @lvmykids1 Click on CC to make the English subtitles appear.

  • @gulshabbo thanks so much!

  • I do not believe that the Romanovs really behaved as they are depicted here.

  • Regarding MEASLES and ENGLISH: The girls heads were shaved as part of the treatment for measles. By summer 1917 they looked OK. Nicky & Alexandra (Alix) in private spoke English to each other and wrote to each other in English. Alix's mother was Princess Alice, the favorite daughter of Queen Victoria. She was taught English as her first language, German as her second. After Alice's early death, at age 35, Alix and her sisters spent a great deal of their time in England with Queen Victoria.

  • @kmshaw54 Thank you! I've always wondered why they spoke English to each other.

  • @kmshaw54 This movie is in Russian save for a line from Alexis. While reading Pushkin to the boy while in bed, Alexis giggles and she asks why. He answers in English, with a Russian accent, “It is just that your reading is so ‘unusual’,” a reference to her poor Russian I would guess (which amusingly appears to go over her head). Could Alexis and his sisters speak fluent English? I know that the boy at least preferred Russian like his father. Alix usually spoke Russian to the kids? Thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • By way of correction, I was wrong in that Nicholas did speak fluent German. Therefore, why his wife and he chose to speak English to each other, at least before the war, instead of German (her native language) is a mystery to me. Since her Russian was poor and her French accent was terrible, perhaps they considered it a compromise since she had difficulties with his native language. That’s just a guess.

  • Lol.. I can't help it, but awww, they're so adorable in the beginning of the movie.

  • Huberlitvac, my advise to you: read some books in English and learn to write (for a start) properly.... :)

  • @1994Zlatan sorry! but i think that i have said that my english its not perfect! anyway i think that if i write or speak a perfect english is none of your business so get a life :D

  • alexandra must speaks in english she never speaks in russian even in her private life with her husband and children

  • @huberlitvac It is true that N & A usually spoke English to each other, but Alexandra did speak Russian; not well, but enough to make herself understood. She had to speak Russian to the guards after their fall. Also, Alexis, like his father, was a Russophile and insisted on speaking Russian. I’m not certain, but I'd guess that A usually spoke Russian to her son per the boy’s wish. (I don’t know how well the boy spoke English, German or French, for that matter.) P.S. your English is fine.

  • Comment removed

  • @litwriter100 thank you for the historical fact i didn't know that! is always fine to learn some more about the romanov's i'm almost obsesed with them since i was 7

  • @huberlitvac You’re quite welcome. It might seem strange to many people that N & A normally spoke English to each other as neither was from an English speaking country. They fell into the habit naturally as that was the foreign language both spoke most fluently. Her Russian was poor and his English was near perfect, better than his French.

  • @huberlitvac I don’t think N spoke German at all, her native language. I assume A spoke Russian to Rasputin, the clergy and to servants and probably to her children, especially Alexis. Many members of the extended Romanov family spoke French better than Russian. Indeed, this was one of their problems. The imperial family hardly seemed Russian any longer and spent much of their time abroad. Indeed, N was only ethnically about 1/250 Russian: Alexis, just half of that!

  • the fact that has been filmed in russian lenguage for me is excepcional is the most realistic film ever made of the romanovs

  • i think this is the best movie ever made of the romanovs. the cast is expectacular and obviously the fact tha has been filmend on the very spot where they lived they lasts years the alexander palace!! much better than others like nicholas and alexandra or rasputin movies. for me its like being there when all this events happened

  • How such cruel bastards could kill innocent children is beyond me. Damn communists.

  • Nicholas II & his wife & children spoke english in private. They spoke french at court.

  • wow! she looks great for having 104 temp. i look like something the cat dragged in when i get that sick

  • does anyone have this in english?

  • This is a great movie! Thanks for uploading it!

  • The Grand Duchesses are SO perfectly cast

  • Thank you for the subtitles!!! This is one of the best movies yet, on The Romanovs.

  • it wasnt till the last few days I did research on the Family, as I child I watched the Anastasia movie. In the scene when she was dancing in the old ball room I felt a deep sadness while watching because I thought about the life that was stolen from her and the womenhood she would never live out. That goes for the other children and a very sad end to a Romance of a Royal King and Queen, cast low under the foot of angry citizens. Royalty is supposed to be graceful and noble....to die like that...

  • @Peidmonte89 i totaly had the same feeling when i wachted that scene.i also did a research for a few days ago i think that i have seen all the videos on youtube that have some thng to do with the romanovs. it is so awful what hapend with them.

  • @zerxolah yeah, the sad thing is I have seen stuff like this in real life. People are crazy, others evil, and all the good in the world is being suppressed by a thick, dark cloud looming over head. Peace be with you!

  • @Peidmonte89 Peace be with you too

  • @zerxolah thanks! =)

  • @Peidmonte89 did you find out why the girls are bald?

  • @TheSecretNymph measles I believe.

  • @Peidmonte89 are they really bald or juswt bald caps?

  • @xTheSecretNypmhx they really went bald in real life but idk what the actors did.

  • @Peidmonte89 France, Russia, it's like no one could stop and think about their royal families as humans... they might have been right to want a change of system, that's not the point, but ... what a horrible way to show that, while they wanted change, they ended up being exactly as bad as the system they were trying to change.

  • @Neithie Thank you! I mean they could have made them step down as rulers. But let them live their days in peace. When Commis go around talking about why Nicholas deserved to die I ask, "Well why did his wife and children have to die?" To which everyone of them I every asked can never reply.

  • @Peidmonte89 You're missing the point.

The decision to kill the Romanovs and their retinue came from Moscow, probably from Lenin himself. It was a stupid move. The Tsar was politically dead anyway so there was no need to kill him. But it happened in the middle of the civil war and Lenin feared that the Whites would use Nicholas as a rallying point.

By this time the Whites already knew that the monarchy was dead anyway so Nicholas was even less use than before.

  • @Camerameister1 What country would of they gone too? They asked to be exiled to England, but they turned them down at of fear of creating war with the revolutionaries. Any country that would of offered asylum them would of been considered an enimy of Russia, and put there own people in danger.

  • @LeahWalentosky What's your point? I don't think I suggested they had anywhere to go.

What I said was that the Tsar, as a political figure, was already dead so there was little point in killing him. You have also made the mistake of assuming that the Reds were united with Lenin at the head. They weren't. There were still elements within the Reds who were considered counter-revolutionary which is why Lenin had so many of the Socialist Revolutionaries shot.

And it's "would HAVE", not "would OF".

  • @LeahWalentosky Yes, they were refused by the Windsors, that is true. But it did not happen out of any fear of revolutionaries. George V turned them down because he did not want to upset the Labour Party. But England wasn't the only possibility.

They would have gone where every other Russian Royal-in-exile went; Paris. That would hardly have been enough to make France an enemy of Russia. To be honest, the situation in Europe after WWI was such that I don't think they would have cared.

  • @Peidmonte89 The people may have played some part in it but most of the blame should be placed on that cocksucker Vladimir Lenin.

  • @misterE2012 I agree....but it still happened none the less.

  • @Peidmonte89 "Royalty is supposed to be graceful and noble....to die like that..."

What a silly comment. That sort of thing has no historical value and implies that this sort of thing is all they're meant for. In that case it's not a wonder people wanted to get rid of them. All that money wasted on nothing more than aesthetics.

What about all the other wasted lives, on both sides? The children of peasants who died in the famines or the pogroms? Don't they matter equally?

  • @Camerameister1 Traditionally and originally Monarchs were "Given their Positions by God". AND many Kings/Queens did good for their people and strived to make better lives for their subjects. I am not saying all lives mattered according to status, BUT the manner in which these people died is not fitting of royalty. EVEN SALADIN who was an elected official did not believe in the murder of a king. Shamed and exiled is what he believed in. I feel the same way, EXCEPT I didnt see Nik as a tyrant.

  • @Peidmonte89 As I have said, killing the Romanovs was stupid. Is the manner of their death any different from that of several Dukes of Buckingham who lost their heads? The French Royal Family? This is what happens, right or wrong. I don't think peasant mothers having their babies cut from their wombs is any more fitting way either.

Nicholas wasn't a tyrant but he represented tyranny and stupidly had no intention of handing over any power to anyone else. A constitutional monarchy was beyond him.

  • @Peidmonte89 "AND many Kings/Queens did good for their people and strived to make better lives for their subjects."

I'm really struggling to think of a good example of this. It took a posse of knights to get King John to agree to Magna Carta. Any good they may have done for the people was done reluctantly. At the beginning of the 20th Century, Russians didn't even have a Magna Carta! Rather than doing as the British monarchs had done - acquiesce in the own best interests, Nicholas stood defiant

  • @Camerameister1 Hmmm really? Never heard of Queen Elizabeth I have you? If you want I will list them. Its not my job to do your research for you though. Nik alone is not to blame for the squalor in Russia. You do realize that his Father and Grandfather died before teaching him much about being a leader right? He was pretty much following his religion and adviser Rasputin who took advantage of him and his family. The guy wasnt fit for leadership. But you dont murder him and his children and wife.

  • @Peidmonte89 "Never heard of Queen Elizabeth I have you?"

Who did exactly what for her people?

"Nik alone is not to blame for the squalor in Russia."

No but in the minds of the people he represented tyranny.

"But you dont murder him and his children and wife."

You don't murder anyone. Why is it so much more important in this case?

For a guy who advocates taking up arms against tyranny, you seem pretty content with absolute rulers.

  • @Camerameister1 The ends dont justify the means in his case. I think Rapists and Murderers deserve death. So yes some people do. I advocate taking up arms against those who want to take away the rights I had before! When I was born we had a Constitution. And God willing when I die we will still have a Constitution and the Republic. A big difference between Niks ruler ship and the Federal Government. The people in office have done FAR worse then Nik ever did. And they did it all knowingly.

  • @Peidmonte89 You don't know very much of Russian history, do you. I'm unswayed by your opinion of your current administration. It's irrelevant. Point closed.

What I am interested in is your sugar-coater 20/20 hindsight which sees an absolute monarch as preferable to a democracy, which America still is (you have an election next year).

Advocating violence with guns is every bit as bad as what the Russians did. Do you not realise they felt the same way? And what did it lead to?

    Murder.

  • @Camerameister1 I dont advocate violence with guns, you misunderstand obviously. Russia was formed into a Democracy and even if it was America is not a Democracy it is a REPUBLIC. No It was formed into the Soviet Union. And I would choose neither communists nor monarchs. But the Commis are scum. PERIOD. It really doesnt matter if you are unswayed by FACTS its ok you can live in denial.

  • @Peidmonte89 I've read your channel. If you're NOT advocating violence with guns, you certainly advocate an uprising and carrying weapons.

Which facts are you in possession of that I'm not? Hmmm?

I couldn't care less about the communists. There were so many different types yet people like you consistently assume they were all the same.

You are the one advocating monarchy over democracy. You know nothing of the Russian Revolution.

And I'll back my knowledge against yours any day sonny.

  • @Camerameister1 I support Gun rights and the fact that more and more restrictions are being put on them is bullshit. NO you clearly didnt understand the message. Watch ALL the videos and I clearly state you should carry because "of all the crazy nut jobs out their", to "protect yourselves, property, and family" Your not American and dont understand the constitution I guess. It's ok, it doesnt bother me. Even the Citizens of my country are too stupid to know what rights they have.

  • @Peidmonte89 FWIW, we don't have a gun culture and nobody here carries a gun. This is mainly because we don't need to and the vast majority wouldn't want to anyway. The more restrictions, the better as far as we're concerned.

As a result, our murder rate is much lower than yours. Not bad for a nation descended from criminals.

But the point really is that you are armed, you hate the government and you advocate an uprising against government tyranny. But absolute monarchy is OK?

  • @Camerameister1 Free men own Guns, Slaves don't. Simple as that. Now that I see how against guns you are and how ignorant you are to the Gun Culture, Community, and All things Firearms related I refuse to continue any more conversation. You will clearly never leave your little box that you call "reality" and as such are nothing more than a simple minded Fascist Robot Pig. Enjoy sucking Corperate Cock the rest of your life and bending over to Liberal scum. FYI I am Libertarian.

  • @Peidmonte89 I'll bet I have way more formal firearms training that you do!

Free men don't own guns because they live in a free society and can walk about freely and without fear.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves.

Libertarian eh? Let the uninsured die, eh? Jeez that's gonna go down well...not!

So Mr Libertarian, what's the difference between Libertarian Capitalism and Libertarian Communism?

You'll grow out of it if you stop listening to Beck and learn to think for yourself.

  • @Camerameister1 By the way you talk I doubt you've ever handled a gun. A gun is many things. A survival tool, a tool for self defense, and an insurance policy. If your not prepared for a worse case scenario than you are not prepared and are a fool. Simple as that. Free men own guns to ensure freedom remains preserved and to remind corrupt government of what a freeman's militia can do. I can think of plenty of "free" people who were shot and killed by a gang banger, crazed person, robber, etc.

  • @Peidmonte89 "Free men own guns to ensure freedom remains preserved and to remind corrupt government of what a freeman's militia can do."

LOL!! I only just noticed this. Son, do you know how the Bolsheviks got into power? Well, a lot of free men with guns got together and formed an alliance with the Bolshies see...

"Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun." - Mao Zedong.

That's what happens in revolutions. They start with the highest ideals of freedom and end with terror.

  • @Camerameister1 hey I totally agree with you (for once). Who wants a civil war or revolution? It gets too many people killed. Thats why the government should serve its people, do what they want done. Hell its our tax dollars. Its our Constitution, its out Country, its our RIGHTS! People have lost their balls in this society. Obama should be impeached, Dick Cheyney should be tried as a War criminal, and All troops deployed over seas should be withdrawn. The US has no right to be warring like this

  • @Peidmonte89 I don't think I said any of that, did I?

  • @Peidmonte89 no it's not our country anymore, woodrow wilson sold it to the jews and we're at war cuz we're a slave to our economy that's by a private banking industry that regulates the value of our dollar. By all means hang Dick by his balls, but burn the FED down and hang a few more ppl as well.

  • @codymhill I know all of this. Force of arms can preserve our nation. We can drive out the invaders!

  • @codymhill

To be fair, it was never really yours in the first place was it.

It belonged to the native Americans originally. Then various European nations ending with Britain. Then you lot decided to take it for yourselves. A bit like parents buying a car and letting their teenage son use it. Then the son drives off and calls them saying that he's leaving home & keeping the car..

Unsupervised kids always mess up given enough time though. Now you're on the edge of the mother of all declines.

  • @Peidmonte89 "Fascist Robot Pig" "Enjoy sucking Corperate Cock the rest of your life and bending over to Liberal scum."

Ooh you don't like me! Did you think up those names all by yourself or did you get them from Hannity?

You're brainwashed. Anyone who could believe that everyone should carry a gun in a free society is not living in one. If you could think for yourself you'd see that.

I can't believe that anyone could think that guns are so important to a modern society.

    You can't even spell

  • @Camerameister1 I have yet to see a "truly free society" emerge and so that is my point.

  • @Peidmonte89 More guns won't make it any freer.

  • @Camerameister1 as the old saying goes, "Remember, when seconds count the police are only minutes away". I dont rely on others to come to my aid, I am self reliant. I suggest you become the same.

  • @Peidmonte89 There's a difference between being careful and being paranoid. Eternal vigilance and freedom are incompatible, in any country. How could any country be considered "free" if you feel the need to go around armed?

If you mean I should be armed, the only people I need be wary of are people like you who get their self-esteem from carrying a lethal weapon and talking big.

In my country, you've got more chance of being hit by a bus.

  • @Camerameister1 It doesnt matter if you are in a "free" nation or not. You can be at the wrong place at the wrong time (drug deal, robbery, home invasion, armed drunk, etc). I never talked big about having a gun. A gun is an extension of my body and a tool to ensure my safety should the need arise. You live in Australia. You got people getting eaten by dingos and getting knocked the fuck out by kangaroos. Buy a .38 and practice with it. You may come to find shooting to be FUN.

  • @Peidmonte89 I have done enough shooting to last me a lifetime and change.

Yes: I could be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Same applies to a myriad of other things which could happen about which I won't lose any sleep. If anyone thinks that's a good reason to go around tooled up, then maybe they need to consider the metrics of it.

And the fact that it's fucking dumb. Careful about the body extension reference. Guns are phallic enough as it is.

People cannot be trusted with guns.

  • @Camerameister1 thats your opinion. I have lived and learned, and know gun ownership like religion is not so black and white.

  • @Peidmonte89 That's the problem with it.

  • @Peidmonte89 "The people in office have done FAR worse then Nik ever did. And they did it all knowingly."

    This is downright delusional.

Nicholas KNEW what was going on and did nothing about it. He supported the role of the Black Hundreds in the pogroms which killed thousands in the weeks after the October Declaration of 1905. He supported the role of the police who participated and supported them. He knew about the murderous activities of corrupt land captains and their extra-judicial killing

  • @Camerameister1 I see your jumping around again to form a defense. They guy lacked spine and guts and thats why he was a terrible leader. So let me ask "Do the ends justify the means"? And if not than stop posting all this garbage because honestly I am too lazy and and honestly am not interested in this conversation. If you want the last word, hell I dont care. I am bored to tears and I am gonna launch my RTW game now. so have fun.

  • @Camerameister1 zero uploads, no pic= troll channel. Have fun sucking Steve Irwins dead cock you fucking Aussie POS, LMFAO!

  • @Peidmonte89 Umm got any facts on the Russian Revolution?

People like you think that anything which is different from what you hate must automatically be better. That's why you fall so easily for dumb ideas. You're incapable of learning the basic lessons of history. Basing your life and ideals around what you hate is a really bad idea.

Now, I'm going to bed. Let me know when you've read anything of substance on this subject.

As for your LMFAO, you really haven't got much to laugh at have you?

  • @Camerameister1 Here is a quick lesson, Stalin Killed more people than the Romanovs ever did, and Khrushchev nearly created a major war with the US and along with the US gov killed millions in proxy wars taking advantage of 3rd world countries. The Romanovs never did such damage. Also when Monarchy died in Germany a man named Adolf Hitler took power. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it. I LMFAO at you because your a soar Aussie who is related to England's criminals and rejects. SALTY NUTS FOR U

  • @Peidmonte89 I suppose you'll call this history. We are not talking about Stalin, we are talking about the Romanovs so your "trump card" is of no value. Whatever Krushchev and the US did is irrelevant. And Hitler! Well, fuck me! How did he get into it? I love how people like you ALWAYS drag him up. If this is all you know of Russian history, you have a lot to learn.

You don't know anything about Russia under the Romanovs. Where are your relevant facts? The place was anarchic.

  • so I keep forgetting that we live in the country of the United States, and can't possibly fathom that our national law decreed language just quite happens to be english and not russian, I mean I completely forgot all about that...my bad...

  • My favourite, as well as role model is Tatya (Tatiana Nikolaevna. I also feel my personality is alike hers. She was a red cross nurse, she cared for injured soldiers. I wish to be a midwife, I love taking care of ill people. My friends and family say i can take control and calm or help people. I have helpred my friends through things they have been scared of. However, I am not all soft. I am soft but stern at the same time. Also, I like to take care of situations myself, like a leader.

  • All Europe's monarchy were constitutional at the time of WWI why blame the kings, the politicians and people had as much to do with it as the king. I do not think the monarchs would have been able to declrare war if he didn't have the support of the people

  • Like any human w/morals-I am saddened by/the families fate.....But what we seem to fail to remember is that WWI was a family squabble. 3 cousins spoiled; and wealthy beyond comprehension sent their citizens into the battlefields to bleed over their childish-like jealousy&greed for MORE. George, Wilhelm, and Nicky were cousins. And 1 was angry that "HE" didn't have as many toys as he believed he was entitled to......that Georgie had more than his share. And millions died!

  • they were terrible people

  • @nutcase1995 No, just flawed and unwilling to change in the face of a changing world.

  • @SapphireCrusader with all due respect how can you say that? To have thousands murdered by Okhrana secret police is just a "flaw". Nicholas was a monster who got himself and his family killed. Shooting them was the best thing the communists ever did.

  • i am sorry for you.to think that someone would actually want to have his innocent children killed. yes he did not take the greatest care of his country but it was because he loved his family. look at the innocent faces o those children and tell me that they needed to die. with all due respect nothing good came out of killing them in the first place.

  • @nekoemiko Nothing good came out of killing the Tsar either. "An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind".

  • why did you reply that to me i was asking about the closed captioning button..

  • @markoconnor20112011 No, disolving the Soviet empire was the best thing the communists ever did.

  • Lhyzychan16, I actually read somewhere that the Czar Nicholas II and Alexandra tried to make their lives as normal as they possibly could. Not only for themselves but for their four daughters and their son, even though things quickly went from bad to worse. Anastasia will always be my favorite Grand Duchess.

  • I wish this family could have lived a normal life and they would be one happy family free of worries.... :')

  • Tatiana was my favourite

  • You're really great! Thank you so much. Finally i can see this movie (with english subs!). I really wanna buy the film but i cant find in belgium :( :p

  • Nicholas and Alexandra always spoke English to eachother the children French and English amongst eachother
