I've just watched your vid (nice one) and been reading your comments.MadHatter149 its people like you that just look for an excuse to cry race haterid. If you want to save your people from poverty then why dont you lead by example and sell your computer and donate all the proceeds. Anyway oxydoras niger's common name is the Ripsaw catfish so called because of the bony structure down its flanks. Hope this will give you some more sensible comments. : )

Hehe, that one is larger than mine, my Niger is just a baby around 9 inches long. I also (SOMEHOW) got a Blue Channel Catfish, in a batch of feeder fish it's a baby though about 3-4''. He's inside the tank with plenty of hide spots.. hopefully he'll survive lol Look at my video of mine if you'd like!

this fish is also called the african giraffe catfish (something like that) the name niger probally comes from the niger( which is pronouced like nIjer) river , probally where they are found..
