@GoOdG3rMs - no I'm not from Australia and I have no idea when I'll ever get there to play. I'd love to though. I have three capos because they are all cut differently. One covers 6 strings, one covers 5 (called "Drop-D Capo - doesn't cover low E), and one covers 3 (called "Shortcut Capo" - doesn't cover low E or high E & B). They are called Partial Capos and are made by Kyser.
Absolutely amazing... It's a shame that true talent such as this doesnt get recognized more often than the guitarists out there with half the talent banging away on their guitars with so many effects they can pretty much play anything and get away with it. Can't believe I missed the Mary's Lake Lodge show :(( maybe I

he is. he's back as a left handed guitar player and is playing some of his old songs and writing new ones left handed. he just released a live album of him playing lefty with an orchestra. it's an amazing sound together. check it out.
that's really cool! ive been trying to learn some of his music myself. i did i rough transcription of fingerdance but i know that there are spots that need to be fixed. are from the area that billy lives?
yes, i live in MN too. all i can tell you about fingerdance is that the tuning is DADDAD. if you're not already in that tuning, give it a try and see if it helps figure out the rest of the spots. good luck!
