very good, I broke my arm last October, so I didn't know if one month was ok to train and do it, but I gave it a try and I did 1:44 for half marathon, and I am very happy!! we hope to return next time for the full marathon. did you run again this year?
WOW!! Youd did 1:44 and only trained a month!!? EXCELLENT JOB! I didn't run Miami this year - ran 2 others though - hope to run Disney next year - doing Nashville Marathon in April - My highest Congrats to you and your excellent time!! YAY!
This is a side of you I did not know Wow! I ran half marathon once and always wanted to run a full one but the half almost killed me. I like surprises a late congratulations.
Thank you clubsoda!! With all your dancing your in fine shape to run a marathon!!! We hope to run another this year - but I swear, your life is never the same afterwards!!
Well worth sharing a second time. When I saw this video was 10 minutes long I didn't think I'd get to the end but the images and narration were very compelling. Didn't seem like 10 minutes at all. Great story and congratulations on both finishing and capturing the event in images and words. :)
I watched your video and at the end I had tears running down my face. I too am training for my first marathon and God has been showing me amazing things through the training. This was very inspiring, I was truly blessed!
Thank you. Good luck & congrats on your first marathon. You are doing only what 1% of the world population will ever do - so finishing in itself is something to be very, very proud of! Let me know how you do!
Thank you! And congrats to you on your marathon! Im planning on running another in St. Charles MO in Sept. I hope to do better on my time! How many marathons have you run since? Thx again. Peace & Blessings
The last 5 km(2miles) were very painful..so since then I stick to halfmarathons.I've been running 3(official) of them, and start to be comfortable on that distance... First now,do I feel ready to make the 42 KM again..
(Will maybe do one in Denmark in oct.,but FOR SURE Paris 2008...)
Thanks. I purposely took pics of average, everyday people who ran the marathon. To me,those are the true heros. They prove you do not have to be an elite athlete to run a marathon, just dogged determination! I can truly say that running this marathon changed my life - something I did not expect when I was training for it!
What a great video! Thanks for sharing! I lived in Kona Hawaii where the Iron Man marathon is held. For 9 years I was always in the crowd cheering the people on! It must have felt great to finish!
thank you for the inspiration , ill run my first marathon next jan 30th in miami
