i've followed her since the late eighties when she was a local atlanta musician.before relentless.whan the only air play she got was from album 88 college radio.shes been an insperation to me
@150sevenmag Explain how to get the B min in an open G tuning. keith Richards used a 5 string G tuning on many songs but I believe the tape I saw of him plaiyng it was playing this as she does.
I was one of Michelle's best friends in the 80's. We used to go to the Rocky Horror show together for years, then when she was with her lover Heidi, me and my partner would go out with them all the time. I need to get back in touch with her, she was a very good friend for many years.
Does anyone know where I can hear more of this amazing singers voice? Is she a recording artist? Or just someone singing for the joy of it? I realise i'm really ignorant but would be great if someone could tell me.
great voice but if you listen to how mick jagger actually drops his voice and accentuates the changes in the song you see that his singing completes the song if you followed his style with your voice it would sound better.
Michelle, your voice is great! Fabulous! Reminds me of being at Trackside Tavern back in the 80's at 1am listening to you, Kristen, Wendy, Emily and Amy while Eddie served the last call of the evening...sweet! ;)
Michelle....from one musician to another, VERY BEAUTIFUL! Love your emotion and soul you put into this!! You have an incredible range, kinda reminds me of a cross between Janis/Sheryl Crow meets folk/rock....VERY unique sound and style...look forward to more. Bradly
I've played this video more than a couple dozen times over the past month or so and chills still run through me.
Damn fine work!!

The guitar is all wrong. This song is supposed to be played in open G tuning not standard tuning.

What a stupid thing to say

She is. Also look for Michelle Malone and Drag the River, one of her old bands.
