Damn Don, this is knockout version of probably the greatest movie theme ever. This music and Carpenter's movies from the period inspired my lifelong obsession with movies and my dreams to become a director, and this performance really captures the power of the track and does justice to it. Carpenters themes junked everything extraneous and concentrated on the deepest essence of our emotions, which is why I've never forgotten them, and why they will live forever. Great track mate!

I didn’t take it down but I have it as private. When I video taped that tune, it was really humid in my studio and my guitar was giving me fits intonation wise. Thanks for the kind words. The horrible sound is basically from my camcorder. I have an inexpensive one, and the sound quality is extremely limited to say the least. Hopefully one day soon, I will upgrade my video software and camera.

It's been following me around on every computer I use, I even learned a trick to have youtube loop it without having to press the button. Thank you very much for the kind words. Regarding the background track, Im actually improvising over the real John Carpenters 80s soundtrack. That could be the reason for the dated drum machine beats, and synth sounds etc. Although, it is an absolute classic but I probably should have done a total remake of the back track.
