That's why she doesn't show up in this show: it aims to be relatively close to the manga, while leaving out much of the filler parts, keeping the main plot ongoing and ending it the same way the manga did instead of the ending the original anime came up with, given that the manga wasn't finished when they made the anime.

Has anyone ever figured out why Envy is a "gender, confused palm tree"? If any of you know the full details of what Envy meant, then you should know that he is indiscriminate on who he wants to be or he should be. He is jealous of PEOPLE, regardless of race, culture, and even gender. That's why he almost looks and dresses feminine while at the same time... has a rather manly physical shape.
