  • Pepe Escobar Italiano ???

  • Americans are rule by foreigners lol

  • latin american people spread all the diseases world wide...

  • Pepe, que pena ..

    pero... una pregunta

    De donde es usted?

  • The Globalist's corporate socialist (fascist) agenda is to destroy the U.S.A.

Socialists actually believe "profits" is a dirty word, and Hugo Chavez wants to ban golf courses!

  • Obama can't do a lot different from Bush. Simply because what Bush was doing was working. Obama knows that if he varies from that, things will be worse and it will be on HIS head.

  • well guess what we are jajaja happy now we are doing it on porpose and there is nothing you could do about it even if you wanted to. America is going down

  • PEPE you are VERY missinformed. it seems to me that the "real new network" is just the same as Fox News.. but for the leftist agenda.

  • what have u been smoking

  • idiot americans, living rich there driking lattes and believing everything chavez the totalitarianist. farc is not a movement 'pepe!' their terrorists who murder and kidnap civilins. learn the facts.

  • This guy is drunk or high and completely uninformed

  • No Offense to anyone, but can anyone tell me in a nutshell(briefly) what is it that started this FARC conflict decades ago? What is it that the FARC wanted originally that they didn't get? what is their main request, issue with the Colombian government? what are their demands? I know I should do my own research.

  • a leftparty in colombia were the biggest but before the elections there candidate was murderd. Then they started a war against the goverment that had planed the murder. Then they made peace, but when they put down the wepons the goverment keept on with the killing and after tousends of murders the ramaning of them ran away and started the "Las Fuerzas Armadas"

  • Pepe ! Why you don't criticize the Ecuadorian government for sheltering guerilla forces opposed to a Democratically elected Colombian government? Why you don't criticize the Colombian Narco-guerilla for killing and bombing defenseless villages and kidnapping civilian in Colombia, be Objective, what you are saying is shameless support of terrorist in Colombia, do you the courage to define Colombia's FARC as terrorist organization

  • You guys want to be taken seriously... stop posting video of Pepe looking like any other home-bound loser vlogger.

Is this recorded at 2am, without having had a shave or showered all day, lit by a desk lamp, and shot on a camera phone? This could only look more like a lame vlog if a house cat wandered into the shot.

  • Question: Are the Mechanisims used to resolve South American disputes financed by the Anglo (British) Banks?

    Curious.

  • Elections in the United States do not change policies. The leaders of the US are put into office by the elite of the world. The leaders are OWNED by the elite of the world. When will the world realize it has come true what the bible tells us?

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12

  • I'm Colombian, my family and myself has suffered from the violance of LAS FARC and currently have a cousin of mine kipnaped by this terrorist. No matter what you discomfort is with X politics you shouldn't fight injustice by killing innocents. Colombia one of the strongest democratic contry in South America and these revals, including President Chavez(Venezuela) and President Correa(Ecuador), wants to turn our nations into comunist regimes where citizens have no freedom whatsoever.

  • It is your country who is making problems in the region, Colombia is a US puppet, why don't you focus on that? Keep your paramilitaries out of Venezuela!

  • Stop talk shit u dont now whats happened in Colombia my brotha!!!

Why was u cousin kidnapped for?

Please see the conflict with u own eyes, Im sure u are dont a poor farmer in Colombia soo you dont know what is! Have u leaved with the people.

  • Your colombian, but your a right wing American boot lick. Licking the boots of the country that has attacked Latin America endlessly.

  • I hope Farc kills your stupid cousin and your whole Imperialist family who live in luxury while half your country starves. If you don't like it go to Miami and live with all your other degenerate Latin American fascist emigres and wait for Castro to die while you wait tables at your shitty Mexican restaurant.

  • That's why you also live in the US not waiting tables but drinking beer all day long and driving around in your beat up redneck truck. People like you have a miserable live however live in denial.

It's not my case, but what's wrong with having money if you have worked hard to get it?

Like I say you like to just lay down and live from the wellfare. That's why you like Castro.

  • Hugo Chavez should have Noam Chomsky, Bill Ayers, Norman Finkelstein, Bernadine Dohrn, Howard Zinn, Michael Parenti, Anthony Arnove, members of the ISO and the IWW and all at REAL News come on Alo Presidente to speak to US citizens and Latin America on the state of things in the USA. Energize the left. Forget these corporate/business class politicians.

  • The latest camp that was bombed by the Colombian forces, was not just a temporary camp, it was a cocaine processing factory witch took a long time to build I am surprised that when Ecuadorian officials were there to supposedly mediate for the hostages, they did not notice what was really going on

  • where do you this information??

YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!

  • i watch all sides of the news..colombian venezuelan and ecuadorian, you should try that some time.

  • and you do im sure....try doing a little news watching and reading and do not stick to just one side of the story you will get a better perspective on what's true or not using common sense in my opinion.

  • Ecuador claims that they had dismantled 47 Farc camps in the past few years, funny that nobody has been arrested from any of these Ecuadorian military operations.

  • If Ecuador can't take control their borders..... Columbia will....

F*CK FARC... and ETA... and SHINNING PATH on top of that too....

  • IF POLAND CANT CONTROL THEIR BORDERS..... GERMANY WILL!!! THOSE POLES ARE A THREAT TO GERMANY!!! At least Hitler believed that.

  • First of all, it's not Columbia, it's Colombia.

also, it is Colombia that can't control their own war within.

  • First of all this is just pepes opinion, not real information, he forgets to mention a lot of things one of them is the direct link that the Ecuadorian and Venezuelan governments to the Farc...what a shame that most nations in south America have communist tendencies, except for Colombia and this guy calls it a puppet of the united states, I wouldn't be surprised if pepe lives in the U.S.

  • .

I usually don't comment but I wonder as I read your opinion here, what do you think "communist" means. Since you use this term in your comment maybe you can give us all a definitive explanation. I am not kidding here, I'd really like to know. Outside of the commonly accepted referral to former USSR or present day China what did Marx intend or mean by that term, if he in fact even invented it. What does Das Kapital (Marx's book)actually say outside of our preconceptions about it?

    Thanks

    '

  • thank you pepe. people need to know this stuff.

  • Uribe an American puppet may be.And we love it,Mr president bring us some more,we want more Windows,Coca-Cola,Ipods,ANgelina Joley(mamacita),Jaguar, landRover,Mcdonalds, toy story,levy's,regeton,rap,M16,smart bombs, patriot missils, sthealt bombers,Michael Jackson,Bill Clinton and Hillary too,GPS,NIKE mADE IN CHINA,lINCOLN nAVIGATORS,WALT MART,exxomMOVIL,WALTdISNEY,TRANSBORDADOR ESPACIAL,legal SYSTEM,We can have all that and still be the most fun people we Colombians are without loosing our identity

  • Hey dude if you know that US technology was use in the operation aginst Farc in Ecuador Why are you still siding whit CHavez,Correa and those terrorist. Can't you read the signs on the ground, red farc's blood, you are fu..ed,you can't win,not militarily.only with votes as we all want.Democracy.

  • This example is totally out of line: "if Hugo Chavez had bombed Colombia..in pursuit of let's say, a Venezuelan indigenous opposition movement trying to destabilize, that would be a mayor international incident". But in fact, Colombia was in pursuit of TERRORISTS as defined by the UN, The European Union and others. The FARC guerrillas are recognized world wide as a criminal leftist terrorist organization, and the commentator seems to be purposefully attempting to minimize their crimes.

  • Wonderful analysis

  • Thank you RealNews, I thoroughly enjoy your channel and the topics covered. And thank goodness for YouTube, it's a great news aggregator, especially of non-broadcast non-MSM news like RealNews.

  • VIVA Chávez and FARC!

FARC is NOT a terrorist group as the media says, its a socialist insurgent group fighting against a corrupt and genocidal governement (supported by USA). What the US wants is to destabilize the continent that I live, just because we are choosing socialism and DEMOCRACY!

  • Vote smart. Vote Nader/Gonzales!

  • I love Nader, but given what happened in 2000, the Republicans would probably benefit more(get more bang for the buck) by funding Nader than their own campaign.

  • Why shouldn't Uribe have gone after FARC in Eucador? If you think Colombia is a "puppet regime" for taking on a bunch of narco-thugs like FARC, you're living in far-left fantasy land, mate. And I'm no fan of Hillary but she can see what Chavez is and wants to be clearer than you. The left will side with any would-be tyrant against the States. Yawn.

  • He's not a puppet for invading Ecuador. He invaded Ecuador because he's a puppet.

It's important to keep these things straight.

Hillary can sleep easy. South America is doing fine with Chavez, especially with the slow-down in murderous meddling from the USA since Bush got into office. He and his cohorts are all incompetent and/or insane, and Latin America has had a little leftist renaissance while they have been busy turning other parts of the world into a bloody wasteland.

    Que suerte.

  • narco-thugs? you've got to be kidding me. all the FARC does is tax coca growers so they can fund their insurgency. most of the Colombian government is involved in drugs. there's corruption at every level, and close ties to paramilitary death squads. Uribe, the president himself, was singled out by US intelligence as a "close ally" of drug kingpin Pablo Escobar and his network. if anyone fits the "narco-thug" label it's him and his ilk.

  • I see you beleive the Media Propaganda. The CIA props up drug lords left and right and Wall Street are the biggest money launderers. Its no coincidence that Afghanistan's Opium production skyrocketed after the US went in. Its Tyrants like Pinochet and the Shah, Musharaf and Saudi Royals that are minions of the US.

When the people take power with democratic elections like Iran's Mossdeq, the US cant plunder so the CIA makes a coup and puts in a dictator to rubberstamp the plundering

  • This is the greatest channel ever. Real news is so much more interesting than "Is Paris preggo?"

  • I second that!!!

  • Me too. I wish they would do more videos, but they probably need more financing. if any of you are rich send them money.

  • i agree that US foreign policy toward South America is deplorable...I advocate less meddling in other nations affairs...

  • too much money to be had.

and a lot of these people in power honestly believe the Clinton "because I can" attitude.

  • unfortuneatly...

  • way to go latin america solve problems them selves rather than have the us gov. mess things up and spin it.

  • US foreign policy toward Latin America has been abysmal for over a century, characterized by an authoritarian tone, naked economic self-interest, and a willingness to use any possible means to achieve its ends, which are continuing and expanding dominance and exploitation.

And most Americans really don't give a shit.

  • It's not just an authoritarian "tone," let's face it. Kidnapping and torture weren't invented at Gitmo and Abu Gharib.

But there's a lot of hope in Pepe's report. Clearly the Bush administration is trying to take care of some unfinished business, using its last ally in the region to sow violence and discord, but it seems to have failed. The new guard stood up to Bush's little puppet and he backed down.

    Si se puede.

    ;-)

  • @livinginlux

Nicely articulated. It's true, U.S. foreign policy has exploited Latin America atleast since the Monroe Doctrine (1823). With it, the US established its 'sphere of influence' over South America, exploiting its people for slave wage and using its land for cash crops; resulting in poverty and starvation.

Also the School of the Americas, located in Georgia, is well known to have trained militias who were inevitably used to quell protestors and violate other human rights.

  • i agree with everything you said except for the last sentence. i dont think most americans dont give a shit. i think most americans are simply ignorant of these issues. i myself am learning new things from alternative media everyday. I would concede though that a lack of desire to learn can be construed as having the information and then deciding not to give a shit. i think theres a difference though. not wanting to know is laziness, knowing and not caring is indefensible.

  • Yes. And it is no accident. Keeping people ignorant, uneducated, and stuck in the morass of media nonsense is a central mechanism of control in our kind of society.

Better than being rounded up in the middle of the night, but very, very dangerous over time.

There is definitely a moral imperative to educate oneself.

  • word...i completely agree. it is very, if not more dangerous over time. Physical oppression is easily recognizable, oppresion of the mind is much more subtle. So subtle that many do not recognize it as oppression but rather its opposite. peace man!!!

  • "Better than being rounded up in the middle of the night, but very, very dangerous over time."

I agree although I'm starting to wonder whats the deal with all those FEMA camps and proto-fascist executive orders and COG plans?

BTW, its also disturbing that the FBI refuses to brief congress on the Anthrax attack investigation(which targeted congress and the Media right after 911 and was found to be US military strain), that's also conveniently off the Media radar

  • Dangerous over time, like i said. And time may be running out. You're right,we may all be living in Dick Cheney's nightmare world soon, and if it happens it will be the media that enabled it.

    Or not. We'll see.

  • I feel Obama would give the best chance of change in our foreign policy. At least he would listen.

  • at least he says he would.

but we have to remember hes gatta go along with the bull shit campains if he wants votes.

  • Yeah. No presidential candidate could or would stick his or her neck out about "getting tough with terrorism" in general, let alone with drug-dealing, Spanish-speaking terrorists who want to sneak into the USA and pick our fruit and seduce our daughters. And who are probably Muslims ...

They'll all say what they need to say, but at least he knows that his chances are better offering people change and hope rather than fear and ignorance and hate.

After that, like he says, it's up to us folks.

  • lol. nice work

  • Obama isn't perfect, but this assumes politicians have that much power over that policy.

Hillary Clinton lost my vote years ago for her obsession with Hugo Chavez.
