  • Whenever my brother has taken our parents' cat to the vet, he has let her ride with him in the front seat uncaged because she associates the cat-carrier with such bad memories. I know people won't like hearing that because it's not as safe, but the cat doesn't complain nearly as much. Only when he gets her to the vet's office does he have to put her in the carrier, for obvious reasons.

  • I have another carrier that Lai Jing thinks is a kitty tent - he plays in that one. Maybe I'll try bringing him to the vet in that one next time!
