can any professional to tell me from where shall I download full plans for various ship building and to tell me what is the best wood types I shall use? bcuz I am in Egypt and there is nothing alike where I can buy such kind of good materials unless I self-manufacture it.
You have done a wonderful job on this schooner. I have one that I race most week ends . But not as nice as yours . Mine is only 3 feet long OAL. And no Evilboy37 , they are made to sail on their side like that .
Ben- Hey it's Scott from the SOSS with the Happy Hunter and Brutus. Found your video after you told me about it at yestereday's sail. Great job, love the music.
naw, the motor didn't ruin it. a lot of full scale sailer's have an auxiliary engine of some sort for docking and doldrum conditions. it's not like he's using it to putter around the pond. looks like if he ever engages it is just to bring it in. I'll allow it
that's more like a sloop not a schooner

You labelled the tacks in reverse. If the boom is on the port side, you are on stbd tack, not port tack.

Your tack is determined by which rail the breeze arrives, you have it backwards.

The keel is a necessity in modelling and ugly to look at out of the drink!

mis stated port & starboard tacks. i.e. starboard tack is when wind is over the right hand or starboard rail..
