  • I apologize that I screwed up pretty good confusing Snatcher with another game. I collect just about everything, and I got a little confused. I would like to thank all the people who have watched the videos. I am currently working on a project hopefully to be ready for Classic Gaming Expo in August 2010

  • Whats wrong with anarchy newsreporter????

  • How can that guy be a huge fan of Snatcher, yet confuse it and Policenauts as being the same game?

  • @ScrewAttackEurope Weren't the stories, or characters the same in both games? He might think there's a similarity between the two. I don't recall though from John D's review from Retroware TV.

  • @GrilledMonkeyFat Nope, nothing to do with each other, other than being the same genre and having the same director. So fans portray Policenauts as the spiritual sequel to Snatcher.

  • That game collection is amazing.

  • A) I need to try that Noctropolis game.

    B) I wasn't around in the eighties, and even I think they're going too far with these eighties reboots.

    C) I'm not one to question the guy who owns every Genesis game in existence, but aren't Snatcher and Policenauts two different games, not alternate titles? I could've sworn that Policenauts was a similar game that came later, and the PSX version just got an English patch not long ago.

Great episode, guys, keep it up.

  • @SpecterM91 Not 100% sure about the Policenauts game. If you really want to find out, Retroware TV did a review to the game, so they might have more information.

Noctropolis is an awesome game. I'll try to provide a download link on the forums.

  • @GrilledMonkeyFat Yeah, that's where I learned pretty much everything I know about Policenauts, I still haven't played it. Snatcher, though, i really liked it. I suppose the two could be really easily confused; look similar, play almost identically, and both are by Kojima.

Hey, if you link Noctropolis, mind giving some DOSbox tips, too? I'm having some issues with it.

  • @SpecterM91 Damn, I knew I forgot something. I did say I would put info on the forums, huh? As soon as I'm done ranting on Facebook, I'll get right on it. hehe

  • @SpecterM91 Ok, done. I posted info on Noctropolis and Dosbox on the forums. Look under "Classic Gaming".

  • @SpecterM91 HAHA, just realized I answered your post under my other screen name, but at least you know where to go. hehe.

  • @GrilledMonkeyFat Alright, lol. I don't frequent the forums nearly as much as I should, I'll drop by and check that out. :D

Oh, and totally out of left field here, but have you ever thought of doing a segment on Megas XLR? I was doing a top ten cartoons list for my blog on ScrewAttack, and going back to watch all the candidates, it's actually one of the geekiest, most hilarious shows of the past few freaking decades.

  • Great episode as always!

  • this episode was badass...I am going to post you on my channel....

  • Awesome episode that John have amazing collection
