I never understoond why a snake (Rattly) could take out Zingers (wasps) easily, but an ostrich (Expresso), who has much stronget legs, couldn't.

Yeah, I found that weird. What's weirder is that in DKL, Expresso is exactly the opposite: Instead of not being able to take out anything, he can now take out everything. Including Zingers.

there is actually a computer version of this and the super jump is X (jesus fucking christ it took me ages to do this level...) and the computer version has an advantage over every other station: you can save the state so you have exactly the same lives and exactly the same position so you can easily get back to where u were before u died :)

I've played this game many times and beat it to the max as many have. I would have to say Toxic Tower was tough when I first began playing this game, but the toughest one for me back then was Animal Antics, the part of Squawks. After practicing many times in that level, its as easy now as the first level of this game.

I played this game a long time ago. it was one of the toughest yet entertaining games for the SNES. A lot of the levels require timing and precision of movement to beat, which is what made it very difficult.

The Donkey Kong Country series had the best SNES graphics during its time. Too bad I never beat this game, it became too difficult for me after the first few levels -_-

The GBA version has WORSE graphics. Especially this level: in the GBA version, it's a hideous bright green. And lots of other levels were ruined graphically. And only a few of the sound effects are better in the GBA version...

Besides, the SNES version is the original one, so more people know about it.

thanks guys. i actually figured it out before i got any responses. and i finally beat the level and it was quite easy and actually fun once i got the gist of it. and i had NO idea that the race with screech was MUCH harder. now that took forever. but i did it. and Kaptain K Rool was much harder than the joke of a boss that he was in the first game, but after enough tries, i beat him too.
