I remember my mate turning this up on his car stereo so loud you couldn't even hear anything except that "bum bum" noise @ 1:18 and 1:25 and 1:31 etc etc I am sure you know what I mean lol. Sick times.
LMAO!.... Even if you have, Even if you tree, I dont even care, We can have a tree, We can plant a house, We can Build a tree, I don't even care, We can have a tree." lol Kurt was funny.
Ah. Another opinion of mine marked -6 just because it's an opinion. I wish you people would just grow up! People have fucking opinions, don't mark it bad just because it isn't your own!
*sighs* no, it's Chad. This version was played on December 3, 1989 at London Astoria, London, United Kingdom. Dave didn't join the band until late 1990. At this point, the lyrics weren't finished and it was called Immodium. If you don't believe me, look it up on LiveNirvana.
It's a live compilation. It doesn't matter who's pictured because there's different time periods for the songs, two that come to mind are Negative Creep (10-30-91) and Tourettes (Reading Festival 92). And in case anyone bothers to bring it up, the recording of Polly was done at the same concert as Breed.
And here's a few more things to add: Pat Smear's not on the cover either, but the version of Scentless Apprentice used on this album is from Live and Loud.
But anyways, the 1991 Sound City recordings version of Breed (Immodium) had the same lyrics as the Nevermind version released later on. If Chad played at the Sound City recordings, and the lyrics were the same for the Nevermind version, then why would this version with incomplete lyrics have Dave playing?
Chad only played drums for Polly and Breed on this shit man....When will you fucking kids who were born after Nirvana died with Kurt realize this?

I think it was still named Imodium
p.s.: how to know if its Chad druming...Listen to the hihats...he always plays eights not fourths
DedeAsPsichas 3 years ago 5
I think so too, but it would be a bit unclear to change the title to Imodium.
KCNirvanaKC 3 years ago
Yeah i remember when i first saw Imodium i thought oh shit a unheard song :D

Cool!!!!!!!!! GREAT ALBUM!
MetalChannel 3 years ago 2
This is poor, it's a pre nevermind version I think because around the recording of it they managed to tighten up the song, improve lyrics etc.
+I don't think Dave is drumming.
futurecharlie 3 years ago
He's not, it's Chad drumming.
lazrpo1nt3r 3 years ago
no it is dave it was just played differently and kurt is messing up the words

Horrible version, especially midway into the first chorus. Chad slows the song down considerably!
lazrpo1nt3r 4 years ago
I didn't know Chad was drumming here. I never really listened to this, but now I do, I hear a really big difference, indeed.
KCNirvanaKC 4 years ago
Yep, this version of Breed was performed on December 3, 1989, less than a year before Dave joined.
