I have grabbbed peoples phones and hung them up before but not dropped them in a drink LOL when I waited tables i refused to even go over to the table until they hung up not matter how long it took... now as a bartender I actually dont get the problem as much.

@raddakunick while you may think its rude remember they are the ones paying, your not so therefore they should be able to be on their phones....maybe that's the reason they are the ones paying your salary and your the one with a dead-end job bar tending....simply move onto a different customer if they are on their phones, unless you've scared everybody away by hanging them up and that's the only customer left.
