I thought the Princes Tale wasn't portrayed well enough in the movies. It was good, but the way J.K wrote that set a standard that wasn't achievable.
Looking back now, the whole scene in the movie where Albus goes, "Severus please," even after everything, I had to watch the movie again and keep myself from freaking out and screaming at Snape, and remind myself what Dumbledore was actually begging Severus for.

People told me from the very first book that Snape was evil. I have always thought otherwise. Snape is my hero and always will be. I want a man to love me as much as he loved Lily. And if I die, his loyalties to lie with me. At the end of the series, when Voldemort killed Snape, I chucked the book across the room. When I saw the movie, I cried my eyes out.
he is the bestest, bravest and most amizing person ever!! just watching this gave me the shivers!! alan rickman was the perfect man to play him.... no-one better

But when it was finally revealed that he had been a double agent all along and it had pained him to kill his long time friend, I felt so disgusted at myself for thinking ill of him for all those years. I'm sorry Snape; you played the game too well. <3
I always knew he was good, but when he killed Dumbledore I was like, What? But then when (You know who) and the others and Snape were all at the table for a evil meeting and they focused in on Snape and then Snape's expression changed, I realized he was somehow on our side.. You can read Snape through his eyes. :) It was really sad when his whole story came out too :(

Egyptian movie producer Dodi Fayed (Chariots of Fire) came to meet me as did Michael Jackson (who I wrote songs for) brought his friend Steven Spielberg. This also includes Titanic as well. Rowlings was in financial trouble, they helped her with my ideas.

@jonvegard31 We hardly knew the bad guys though. Pettigrew, Lestrange and Voldemort died - that was necessary to satisfy us. But she HAD to kill off the good guys. In real life, war and death do not choose only 'bad' guys as their victims. Innocents die. It's not like Twilight, where the good looking 'good' characters all live forever and ever. Urgh

Omg, when I saw the Pensieve scene in DH part 2 I cried. I never realized how much Snape loved Lily until I saw the Pensieve scene. The part I cried the most was when Snape was talking with Dumbledore and he conjured his Patronus, a doe, which is the same as Lily's. Alan Rickman really deserves an Oscar for his performance in all these movies.

Snape didn't want to fight it seemed almost painful for him to even stand against Potter and Mcgonagall. Yet once Harry said that Snape had killed Dumbledore, Mcgonagall was furious, which was why she stepped in. She wanted a piece of Dumbledore's killer, and she showed her worth in battle.

@fireroum Yeah, she meant it. I think she meant everything she put in her writing, especially when it came to Snape because she knew his outcome when she started writing the books. Alan Rickman was the only other person (apart from her) to know about the whole Lily situation - not even J.K Rowling's husband knew!
@Paston3oys Funny that now the story is over Snape's part is the one I still think about the most and when I was a kid reading the books I hated him, but he is in my opinion the best character in the whole series, probably the best think Rowling wrote.
@Paston3oys i think that's what rowling was doing the whole time. that's why snape's story was the greatest surprise of all. i used to hate snape, but now he doesn't seem like a bad character. he treated harry bad, of course, because he hated harry's dad and harry was just like james potter. but he never wanted harry dead, and protected him out of love for lily, so that she didn't die in vain.
@Paston3oys It basically was Snape was behind Harry the Entire series. My Dad realized this and made a Bet with me after we read the fourth book that Snape was good and was protecting Harry.

@ojamajoyy He was probably a bit angry at Harry for geting past his defenses, and probably later mad because he accused him of killing Dumbledore in cold blood when in fact he killed him because Dambledore told him. But notice how even when McGonnigal was casting spell after spell at hime, Snape never fired a single one back.

@abstarXD Not exactly ! In the book, Harry told Voldemort about Snape's real loyalty, and since their last duel happend in the Great Hall, so all the other people who fought heard this as well .. :) Oh and after it, Harry had Snape's portrit hanged in the Hogwarts Headmaster;s office :)

@fireroum Yeah, she meant it. I think she meant everything she put in her writing, especially when it came to Snape because she knew his outcome when she started writing the books. Alan Rickman was the only other person (apart from her) to know about the whole Lily situation - not even J.K Rowling's husband knew!

@Paston3oys Funny that now the story is over Snape's part is the one I still think about the most and when I was a kid reading the books I hated him, but he is in my opinion the best character in the whole series, probably the best think Rowling wrote.

@Paston3oys i think that's what rowling was doing the whole time. that's why snape's story was the greatest surprise of all. i used to hate snape, but now he doesn't seem like a bad character. he treated harry bad, of course, because he hated harry's dad and harry was just like james potter. but he never wanted harry dead, and protected him out of love for lily, so that she didn't die in vain.

@ojamajoyy He was probably a bit angry at Harry for geting past his defenses, and probably later mad because he accused him of killing Dumbledore in cold blood when in fact he killed him because Dambledore told him. But notice how even when McGonnigal was casting spell after spell at hime, Snape never fired a single one back.

@ If Harry only knew that Dumbledore actually entrusted to Snape his own death. It must have been comforting for Dumbledore to find Snape among the enemies that surrounded him that night.

@abstarXD Not exactly ! In the book, Harry told Voldemort about Snape's real loyalty, and since their last duel happend in the Great Hall, so all the other people who fought heard this as well .. :) Oh and after it, Harry had Snape's portrit hanged in the Hogwarts Headmaster;s office :)

His story was certainly sad, yes. I was distraught when read about what happened to him and about his life... but I cried when I saw the movie. I'm such a sap. Damn playwrites and their emotional scenes and dialogues!
