@wheely132 I do to ,but with 1/4 not a 3/8 drive. Most tranny pan bolts torque spec is about 10-15ftlbs. A 3/8 drive FAR7200 can easily strip them out
I have this air ratchet and like it.Bought mine used on Ebay.I did have to have to get it sent in to get rebuilt once so far.Snap On makes the best 3/8 drive air ratchets and I will never switch.
I bought a Mac impacting air ratchet about 6 months ago and its works great and I dont have to worry about bashing my knuckles because of the impacting mechanism . I highly recomend it, plus its cheaper than the snap-on .
What a piece of shit. Just spent almost 5 bills on it (settle down yanks, I'm canadian) and the same day I got it, it was fucked. Obviously warranty is gonna cover it, and my Snap on guy is cool so I'm getting a brand new one for free. We'll see if it ends up being a decent ratchet. It's got lots of power nonetheless
matco air ratchet is a impacting type , thus creating more power , but due to the pin clutch design it breaks down quite often , so i been told by a mechanic that had to have his matco air ratchet 3 times in less than 1 year , snap on far 7200 is a great tool , but i have found other rathets made in taiwan for less money , more power and very durable and twin pawl design , check out SUMAKE air tools , or KUANI GEAR , and you will see , i have actually tested them and also cp 7830 . poor
Actually Matco has one coming out that is 130 ft lbs, but I have the FAR7200, and wouldn't even touch a 130 ft lb air ratchet. I like my knuckles, thanks.
i don't even use a 1/4 air ratchet to tighten trans pan bolts...that guy is on crack...plus this ratchet blows i had one.
